In BioShock 2, you step into the boots of the most iconic denizen of Rapture, the Big Daddy, as you explore through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7/day in the week to Aug 20 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Muito bom. Uma pena que dá crash o tempo inteiro.
tremendo el juego, el lore esta genial, los visuales lucen excelente y el mundo es atrapante
Bioshock 2 is the only game in the series I ever have any specific urge to replay. It easily pushes the core ideas as far as they've ever gone. Infinite stripped out most of them, chased the trends of its time like an overdressed Halo clone, tried its hand at a story that was entirely outside the competence of its writers, and has gone down in history as a great disappointment that killed the studio which made it. Bioshock 2 takes what worked in the systems of Bioshock, which was admittedly using its excellent art direction and high production values to bolster an otherwise rather mediocre shooter, and pushes them. Traps, environmental control, 'bull-baiting' strategies, weapon variety, ability variety, build flexibility and on and on have all been heavily improved in every possible way. The game's narrative feels more reactive than the first, and the villain is far more plausible as there have been far more attempts at establishing communist utopias than individualist ones, and they have all ended in the most horrifying tragedies imaginable.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
my favorite bioshock game ever
I really liked the story and also the gameplay got improved a lot that you can shoot while using plasmids. it's really good that I'd recommend playing! but it has issues. I think one my complaints are for the "Minerva's Den" DLC. the textures were popping up and mostly would stay being blurry even if I change the limitation in the .ini file. same thing. also when reaching to the second part of the dlc, whenever the loading screen was showing, the game were keep crashing. and this got fixed by adding DXVK files (d3d11.dll'&'ini files) to the game directory. without having that. the dlc would probably stay broken. and it wouldn't been possible to 100% the achievements. after that the dlc worked and I'd say Minerva's Den is great dlc. and thankfully I haven't encountered a single crash and blurry textures to the main story and to the Protector Trails dlc. these issues only occurred in the Minerva's Dan dlc.
can you get all the achievements?
You can if you're lucky like me! but if you encounter some crashing and issues then it requires some tweaks.
Completed the entire BioShock trilogy for the first time in 2026 on steamdeck, and my mind is completely blown. Even years after their release, these games stand as absolute masterpieces of storytelling, atmosphere, and world-building. The chilling philosophy of Rapture and the mind-bending quantum paradoxes of Columbia left me staring at the screen in pure awe. This trilogy is timeless, but man... it truly deserves a proper, high-budget remake with modern tech. 10/10. A must-play for anyone who values true art in gaming.

I enjoyed more than bioshock 1 even though i would say bioshock 1 has a better story - 10/10 dlc and amazing ending
An amazing story worth checking out. The gameplay is better than the original's, but the story is somewhat lacking. The game tended to crash during Little Sister defenses, so watch out for that. Overall, a great game!
Love this game. Story of Bioshock 2 and Minerva's DLC is better than infinite that up it's own ahh and contradicts itself (unless you buy the mixed af dlc). Crashes frequently tho. Gameplay is GOATed.
Never gave this a chance when it first came out, glad I revisited it Absolutely worth playing if you enjoyed the first game or Infinite. Some quality of life and gameplay improvements but shorter and a story that wasnt quite as captivating as the first game for me. But could totally understand why someone would prefer this or Minerva’s Den, which is also worth getting.
