In BioShock 2, you step into the boots of the most iconic denizen of Rapture, the Big Daddy, as you explore through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7/day in the week to Aug 20 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Amazing game, I very highly suggest playing it. only bad thing I can think about it is the fact you cant go back and save the little sisters that you missed. The story is wonderful, I do like how Sinclair takes the role of the better atlas and this game tells more of the prodigal son of Andrew Ryan and how they came to be. the weapons are fun, the plasmids are fun to mess around with. I see other reviews say the game crashes a lot, my game only crashed once or twice, because there was a lot of stuff happening, not the game itself, so I guess it matters on what you play on. I do wish there was the option to save Sinclair, not to take him with you but to save him from him death. other then that, there's no more notes to be said. now, would you kindly play Bioshock 2?

Good game, still holds up to this day, though the gunplay feels its age. Still, an improvement over the first one. The atmosphere is great, and the game is not too bad looking (even if it doesn't feel really "remastered"). Guess it's a case of remembering games as having RTX always on. On the other hand this game does not pull the same tour de force in meta-storytelling as the first one and but the main story is nice. The zeitgeist of the late 2000's is all over it, with the attempt at showing "extreme collectivism bad" is by taking the example of a death cult, just to balance out the "extreme capitalism bad" of the first one. It's not as bad as Infinite in that regard though. I don't know if it's me running a GPU older than an Ayn Rand apologist's idea of age of consent, or if it is a perk of running linux but I only encountered one crash during my 10ish hours playing. Ol' 980 still got it :)

Don't get me wrong this is a great game and I enjoyed my time with it, but man the constant crashes really did ruin the experience for me on both my pc and legion go 2. I highly recommend saving your game every 5-10min if you don't want to backtrack 30min on a lvl. Idk why but my game kept crashing at the gil alexander section. Other than that the gunplay and plasmids are even better than the original.
