Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 25 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

so relaxing. The game designers have outdone themselves.
Bento Blocks is a delightful puzzle experience that takes inspiration from the careful preparation of Japanese lunch boxes and turns it into an engaging test of logic and spatial reasoning. Instead of focusing on speed or reflexes, the game challenges players to cut ingredients into the correct shapes before arranging them neatly inside a bento box. This simple premise quickly evolves into a series of increasingly thoughtful puzzles that reward observation, planning, and efficiency. Its welcoming presentation and intuitive mechanics make it accessible to players of all skill levels, while the steadily rising difficulty provides enough depth to keep seasoned puzzle fans invested. The central gameplay mechanic revolves around making as few cuts as possible before fitting every ingredient into the available space. While the objective is immediately understandable, mastering each puzzle requires more than random experimentation. Every slice changes the possibilities for the remaining pieces, forcing players to think several moves ahead. The star rating system further encourages optimization by rewarding efficient solutions, giving completionists an incentive to revisit earlier stages and refine their strategies. This creates a satisfying balance between simply finishing a puzzle and discovering its most elegant solution. Across more than 180 handcrafted levels, the game consistently introduces fresh ideas without overwhelming the player. New mechanics and increasingly unusual box layouts ensure that each chapter feels distinct from the last. Rather than relying on artificial difficulty spikes, Bento Blocks expands naturally by encouraging players to combine previously learned concepts in creative ways. This thoughtful progression prevents repetition and maintains a steady sense of discovery throughout the campaign. Even after many hours, new puzzles continue to present unique challenges that require flexible thinking instead of memorized solutions. One of the game's strongest qualities is its relaxing atmosphere. There are no timers pressuring players to rush through stages, allowing every puzzle to be solved at a comfortable pace. Mistakes can be corrected without penalty, making experimentation an enjoyable part of the experience instead of a source of frustration. This stress-free approach complements the game's cozy identity and makes it ideal for players who enjoy solving problems through patience and careful observation rather than intense competition or fast-paced action. Visually, Bento Blocks embraces a colorful hand-painted art style that gives every ingredient and lunch box its own distinctive charm. The food items look vibrant and appealing, while the clean interface keeps attention focused on the puzzles themselves. Each completed arrangement feels rewarding thanks to polished visual feedback that reinforces the satisfaction of finding the correct solution. The artistic direction successfully captures the warmth and creativity associated with handcrafted meals, adding personality to what could have been a purely abstract puzzle game. The sound design contributes just as much to the relaxing experience. Gentle live-recorded music accompanies each stage without becoming repetitive, creating a peaceful environment that encourages thoughtful play. Subtle sound effects accompany every cut and placement, providing satisfying feedback without distracting from the gameplay. Together, the visuals and audio establish a calming atmosphere that perfectly complements the deliberate pace of the puzzles. Although the game places little emphasis on storytelling, it does not need a complex narrative to remain engaging. Its strength lies entirely in the quality of its puzzle design and the gradual introduction of fresh mechanics. Players searching for action-packed gameplay or cinematic storytelling may find the experience understated, but those who appreciate carefully constructed logic puzzles will likely find themselves captivated by the steady stream of inventive challenges and rewarding moments of insight. Bento Blocks succeeds because it transforms an ordinary everyday activity into a clever and consistently enjoyable puzzle adventure. Its combination of strategic slicing mechanics, intelligent level progression, charming presentation, and relaxing atmosphere creates an experience that remains engaging from beginning to end. SOMETIMES LIMITED has crafted a polished title that stands out within the cozy puzzle genre by emphasizing thoughtful problem-solving over complexity for its own sake. It is an easy recommendation for players who enjoy relaxing games that stimulate the mind while maintaining an inviting and comforting atmosphere. Rating: 9/10

This is a high quality single player puzzle game that I like a lot.
SO CUTIE, i loved it! this game really got me thinking and the little details were adorable :3
Great game, though it is really short.
this game makes me hungry
This is a cute little student-developed puzzle game about fitting shapes in the right spaces, themed around creating Bento Boxes. Currently, the game consists of seven chapters, each of which introduces a new mechanic to mix things up, such as the ability to cut your rice blocks into smaller shapes, the ability to rotate some cutting tools but not others, seafood that must (or must not) be put on specific spaces either without being cut into or after being cut in a very specific way, and the ability to cut and rearrange the Bento Box itself. Each stage in these chapters has three stars to obtain by completing them without excessive cuts, and while you don't need every star to unlock the next world, you do need every single one to earn every achievement. I thought the game was challenging but fair, with only a few levels truly stumping me only to have a "dang it how did I miss that?" reaction upon looking up help. The atmosphere is very soothing, with a lovely artstyle and lots of little decorations to interact with in the puzzle's borders (including a kitty!). Honestly, my only real complaint is the price, as I'm not sure that it's worth roughly $19 CAD (though I did admittedly pick this up during a 25% discount) when, for example, "Is This Seat Taken?" (which is currently in a bundle WITH Bento Blocks, giving you an even bigger discount if you want both or already have one or the other) had equivalently satisfying-to-solve challenges, included a fun narrative, took me an additional two hours to experience fully, and is five dollars cheaper. I highly recommend checking out the free demo version before you buy, especially since it currently consists of the entire first chapter and most of the second; that's a lot of content! Ultimately, this is not the "caviar" of puzzle games, but it doesn't need to be. Sometimes I just want to spend a cozy afternoon or two indulging on fish fingers, and that's exactly what I got with this game. I wish the best of luck to the students that made this, regardless of whether they add additional courses to this game or instead move on to fresher waters.
