Bastion is a pretty interesting quick romp through a surreal land. I first tried to play this game when it launched on the Xbox 360, and I didn't love it. But after playing through Hades, and loving it, I decided to give this another go. What's most interesting about playing it post-Hades is how much of Hades seems to have been taken from this game. Many of the weapons are similar, even some of the skills are. But obviously Bastion is a simpler, faster title, and is, frankly, worse. It's also not a roguelike. But it's still very stylish, with a cool AF narrator, and it's worth a playthrough for Hades fans. Just don't expect anything extraordinary; this was Supergiant's first game, after all.

Bastion fut l'un de mes premiers jeux indé sur Steam, il a fait partis de la première poignée de jeux indé assez méconnu qui n'ont pas autant cartonné que Hotline Miami, Meat boy, Isaac et etc... à cet époque mais il est du même niveau, tout aussi bon dans ce qu'il propose. Un très bon action RPG, simpliste au possible, on va avoir différentes armes tout au long du jeu et on pourra amélioré celles qui nous paraissent le mieux, des skills passifs et actifs à débloqué en montant de lvl etc... Le jeu se joue tout seul, il est assez facile à prendre en main, même tout au long de l'histoire, mais il existe des modificateurs qui permettent de monter la difficulté. La narration n'est pas trop dérangeante, ça démarre et se coupe au bon moment, pendant les phases de combats par exemple la voix off ne dira rien, ou alors presque rien. Excellent jeu que je conseil beaucoup, durée de vie de 10h je dirais, et plus avec les new game + et tous ce qu'il y a à déloquer.
I don't think this game holds up well at all. The combat is clunky and the story is honestly kind of slow and boring. When it came out I'm sure it was better, but now that Supergiant have made games like Hades I would just play those instead.
This game is a great game. I think the story is entertaining, and the combat is good. The setting is interesting. If your unsure, wait for a sale to buy it, but otherwise just get it its a solid game.

Bastion is an oldie but goodie
To this day I don't know why... This game is one of my favorite games I have played EVER no hyperbole I don't know why like, hades is awesome too but literally anytime I see this game (cuz its cheap too) I have to buy it. The atmosphere is one of my favorites due to how unique the world is and vibe of this doomed crumbling desert world with little to no humans left. (don't even get me started on the narrator dude I love that man with all my heart ); ). I need to beat this game again and 100% it instead of getting far and forgetting about it, my love for this game was official when I beat it for the first time on xbox 360 when I was younger and its finally time I return to the Bastion... (Omg I love this game so much I made a actually normal and love filled comment holy shart)
Um jogo muito bem polido. Visual, audio e gameplay mesmo após 15 anos ainda são extremamente competentes mesmo se comparado com games modernos. Um verdadeiro clássico! É possível ver toda essência que posteriormente se tornaria na obra-prima deles (Hades).
