Baldur’s Gate 3 is a story-rich, party-based RPG set in the universe of Dungeons & Dragons, where your choices shape a tale of fellowship and betrayal, survival and sacrifice, and the lure of absolute power.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Very good game. The story is good, the gameplay is too, and you get extreme freedom in your approach to pretty much everything. For example, I made a pact with a devil to obtain a powerful weapon meant to be used against the final boss. But since I had no intention of honoring the pact, I opened a portal to the devil's hellish manor, stole the contract, looted his private version of a British colonial museum, took out his pleasure slave, and freed his most important prisoner. When the devil tried to intercept me at the portal, I threw a backpack with four nuclear explosives (which I had stolen from a terrorist organization of gnomes) right in his face, blowing him and his minions to pieces. Definitely a highly recommendable game with massive potential for multiple playthroughs due to the nearly unlimited possible playstyles."

Every market we collect.
Same day: best CA #7, worst JP #58 · 14 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Of the 12 markets with a position on both sides, 12 climbed and 0 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 161.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 196.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have put way too many hours into this game. After unlocking every achievement and completing my 7th playthrough, I think it's finally time to say goodbye. I highly recommend it to any RPG fan—it is incredible. Hope I never play it again though. 10/10.
Just left character creation. Excited to see what the game has in store!
Great game. I can definitely see why it's getting so much praise. I'm only at the beginning of Act 2, and I can already tell this game has a huge amount of replayability. The combat can be pretty frustrating until you reach level 5, even on the lowest difficulty. Also, don't obsess over making the "right" choices—just do what feels best to you. That's the best way to enjoy the game. Highly recommended for anyone who loves RPGs. If you're playing on low-end hardware, try using Vulkan instead. It noticeably improves performance. One additional note: avoid Rule34. I genuinely can't believe I got a major spoiler from it.
I'm 3 years late to playing this game, and after finally diving in... I get it. I completely understand why this game won so many awards and why people still talk about it. I went in expecting a good RPG, but I wasn't expecting to get so invested in the world, the characters, and the sheer amount of freedom the game gives you. It feels like every decision matters, and even small choices can lead to completely unexpected outcomes. Instead of forcing you down one path, the game constantly rewards creativity, whether you're solving problems through combat, persuasion, stealth, or just doing something completely ridiculous. The companions are one of the biggest highlights. They all have distinct personalities, believable motivations, and some of the best character development I've seen in a game. I found myself looking forward to every conversation at camp just to see how relationships evolved and what new stories would unfold. Visually, the game still looks fantastic, and the voice acting and soundtrack do an amazing job of bringing the world to life. There are moments that are hilarious, heartbreaking, tense, and genuinely surprising, all within the same play session. The craziest part is how reactive everything feels. NPCs remember your actions, quests can play out in countless ways. It's one of those rare games that completely lives up to the hype. If you've somehow been putting it off like I did, consider this your sign to finally play it. It absolutely deserves its reputation, and I'm already thinking about several playthrough to see how differently everything can unfold.
Truly one of the best CRPGs out there. The story, lore, characters (even though some of them are super irritating), and combat system are all polished. You can do an insane number of runs with different outcomes since it's a traditional RPG. If you haven't played any D&D games before, or even if you're not a fan of turn based combat, I highly recommend it. It's truly a one of a kind game.
I have never been a big fan of turn-based games at all, but oh boy, was I proven wrong. This game scratched an itch I didn't even know I had, and it delivered so freaking well. I'm left craving new playthroughs, new possibilities, mods, and everything in between. It has truly earned a place among my all-time favorite games. A masterpiece!
