Great table top game. I play this game since early 90s. This is just a very poor and frustating version of the game. The original is sometimes depending on luck an sometimes on skill. This one is just unfair.
Great strategy game for people that are busy!

Per qualsiasi giocatore amante del board game è importante sapere che non si tratta di un gioco fair to play (triste parentesi a cui l'azienda Wizards of the Coast ci ha ormai abituati). I tiri di dadi non sono realmente randomizzati e non correlati. Gli scipt tendono a bilanciare le partite favorendo/sfavorendo uno dei contendenti in base all'andamento della partite. Situazioni comunissime, per quanto frustranti, nel gioco da tavolo diventano qui semplicemente impossiibli. Risulta dunque inutile sviluppare strategie rischiose perché andranno in porto raramente. Acquisto sconsigliato qualora vogliate replicare le appassionanti, e imprevedibili, campagne militari che siete abituati a giocare nell'epico gioco da tavolo. Anelo il giorno in cui le piattaforme penalizzeranno le aziende che manipolano la randomicità. Aggiornamento: dopo aver cumulato un numero significativo di ulteriori partite posso garantire che, pur non potendo stabilire le modalità con cui il software manipoli le partite, queste ultime risultano palesemente plagiate per garantire un bilanciamento turno per turno. Non si verificano infatti fluttuazioni statistiche significative relative alla "fortuna/sfortuna" dei tiri . Tali fluttuazioni, per quanto a volte frustranti, sono una delle componenti essenziali del gioco da tavolo e garantiscono partite imprevedibili e sempre differenti. L'assenza di fluttuazioni nei tiri di dadi fa si che risulti del tutto sconveniente prendere decisioni tattiche e/o strategiche rischiose, preferendo sempre la via più sicura (e prevedibile) per ambo le fazioni. In sostanza, la noia fatta gioco. Per fare degli esempi pratici: 1) state pur certi che, se un attacco è andato particolarmente bene al giocatore X, quest'ultimo subirà una batosta altrettanto imponente in un suo successivo attacco nel medesimo turno o al turno successivo e/o, parimenti, il giocatore avversario Y otterrà un vittoria altrettanto significativa nel turno a seguire. 2) Se un attacco è andato particolarmente bene, è opportuno non sferrare attacchi con bombardieri isolati o bombardamenti sulle fabbriche. La strage è garantita. I bombardieri possono essere usati solo per attacchi diretti scortati da altre unità sacrificabile. La loro perdita in massa è garantita. 3) "Colpi di fortuna/sfortuna" consecutivi, per ambo le fazioni, sono quasi del tutto assenti. Qualsiasi giocatore accanito di Axis, così come altri giochi basati su eventi aleatori, sa perfettamente che le fluttuazioni possono presentarsi frequentemente. Ovviamente, per un numero elevato di partite (e dunque di lanci) le fluttuazioni tendono a convergere verso la distribuzione normale di probabilità. Ma tale convergenza è anch'essa del tutto casuale e, solitamente, non si verifica all'interno di una medesima partita....per non parlare tra un turno ed il successivo. Il classico "non è serata" o, in maniera speculare, "oggi ho fortuna ai dadi" semplicemente non esistono. Tali colpi di fortuna/sfortuna, del tutto casuali e imprevedibili nel mondo reale, sono qui del tutto assenti. Il gioco è programmato per restituire una distribuzione normale di probabilità, "affossando" sistematicamente il giocatore che ha ottenuto una vittoria significativa o "premiando" il giocatore che ha subito una cocente sconfitta. Posso dunque confermare quanto asserito nella prima edizione di queste recensione. Non acquistate il software e preferite il software TripleA (gratuito). Simili opere di scempio non meritano il vostro denaro e non devono essere premiate in alcun modo.
