Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5/day in the week to Aug 4 → 13/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome to the Living Lands, a mysterious island filled with adventure and danger.
Set in the fictional world of Eora that was first introduced to players in the Pillars of Eternity franchise, Avowed is a first-person fantasy action RPG from the award-winning team at Obsidian Entertainment.
The Living Lands is an island where the air hums with ancient magic, the flora seems to move with a mind of its own, and the ground beneath your feet shifts with secrets waiting to be unearthed.
Now, the Living Lands faces a dire threat—a mysterious plague that defies nature and reason, spreading chaos across its sprawling wilderness.
As an envoy of Aedyr, you are sent to investigate, but what begins as a mission of duty soon becomes deeply personal—you feel as though the land recognizes you and is pulling you toward something greater. The choices you make will ripple across the Living Lands, shaping the fates of its people, its creatures, and even yourself. But beware, for every decision carries weight, and the forces you encounter will not hesitate to test your resolve.
Can you navigate the tangled web of intrigue, power, and danger to uncover the truth? Can you save this unknown frontier and your soul from the forces threatening to tear them asunder?
Even more to do in the game! This update brings New Game Plus, a Photo Mode, a brand new weapon type with two-handed staves, the ability to change character appearance whenever you’d like, new character creation presets, additional Godlike presets, custom game difficulty settings, and the addition of three new playable races: Dwarf, Aumaua, and Orlan.
The Living Lands is a place that feels foreign yet somewhat intrinsic to you as it feels the island itself is calling out to you for help. Explore an island home to many different environments and landscapes, each with their own unique ecosystem.
Mix and match swords, spells, guns, and shields to fight your way. Dig into your grimoire for spells to trap, freeze or burn enemies, bash them with your shield, or use range bows to attack from a distance.
Companions from a spread of species will fight alongside you, with their own unique set of abilities. From a former mercenary to an eccentric wizard, they will be part of your journey with your choices shaping them as you help them with their quests.

Pros Magical combat: it felt like playing Doom but as a wizard Main storyline Cons Most sidequests are simple fetch quests You see a lot of the same enemies with the same tactics over and over Overall It's definitely a AA game, so go in with tempered expectations. But if you liked the Pillars of Eternity CRPGs and want to explore the world of Eora more or if you're hankering for fun magical combat system, check it out when the game goes on sale. P.S. And if you find yourself hitting a wall in terms of questing and combat, make sure to upgrade your gear at camp or buy better gear in the region's hub city. Leveling up typically adds more spells / ability options, with the occasional stat boost, and so most of your damage and defense increases come from equipment progression instead of level progression.
Overall, an entertaining game. Sorcery spells were a bit underwhelming, and none of the companions was all that useful. But nice visuals, OK story, and plenty to explore.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I actually really enjoyed my time with this game. stunning graphics, magic is pretty sweet, story is above average. I liked the fact that it wasn't a super deep 100 hour RPG. Most of these RPG's are bloated and don't appreciate your time. This might be attributed to the fact I'm getting older, but I dig it. My view is slightly tainted by the fact that it was announced so many years ago. Realistically it should be better than what we got, but it was still a fun experience for me. My only complaints are the enemy variety, kinda bland companions and NPC's were static. This is a huge deal for alot of gamers out there and I can understand why their immersion is broken by this. Me personally, It wasn't a huge deal. Overall I'd probably give it a 7.5 out of 10.
Chill rpg game where it's not too complicated or difficult but still enjoyable.
Beautiful game - story drags on a bit toward the last area, but that's probably because combat grew stale. Writing is pretty good -caveat always being with these psuedo 'choice' games like this or BG3 ect ect - if you like what happened then its OMG BEST GAME, and if its not then its 'poor writing'. I read a few ppl compare this to Veilguard and those people must have tumors or something bc Veilguard was dogshite and this game is pretty damn good!
Great game, fun combat, love the world building. Some of the characters are written a bit flat but overall well worth the time & money
I am actually really enjoying my time in this game. I don't know how this game was initially received but I really like it so far and think it has been worth the time and money I have spent to play it.
Deeper than expected
huge fun game
