Prices

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5/day in the week to Aug 4 → 13/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome to the Living Lands, a mysterious island filled with adventure and danger.
Set in the fictional world of Eora that was first introduced to players in the Pillars of Eternity franchise, Avowed is a first-person fantasy action RPG from the award-winning team at Obsidian Entertainment.
The Living Lands is an island where the air hums with ancient magic, the flora seems to move with a mind of its own, and the ground beneath your feet shifts with secrets waiting to be unearthed.
Now, the Living Lands faces a dire threat—a mysterious plague that defies nature and reason, spreading chaos across its sprawling wilderness.
As an envoy of Aedyr, you are sent to investigate, but what begins as a mission of duty soon becomes deeply personal—you feel as though the land recognizes you and is pulling you toward something greater. The choices you make will ripple across the Living Lands, shaping the fates of its people, its creatures, and even yourself. But beware, for every decision carries weight, and the forces you encounter will not hesitate to test your resolve.
Can you navigate the tangled web of intrigue, power, and danger to uncover the truth? Can you save this unknown frontier and your soul from the forces threatening to tear them asunder?
Even more to do in the game! This update brings New Game Plus, a Photo Mode, a brand new weapon type with two-handed staves, the ability to change character appearance whenever you’d like, new character creation presets, additional Godlike presets, custom game difficulty settings, and the addition of three new playable races: Dwarf, Aumaua, and Orlan.
The Living Lands is a place that feels foreign yet somewhat intrinsic to you as it feels the island itself is calling out to you for help. Explore an island home to many different environments and landscapes, each with their own unique ecosystem.
Mix and match swords, spells, guns, and shields to fight your way. Dig into your grimoire for spells to trap, freeze or burn enemies, bash them with your shield, or use range bows to attack from a distance.
Companions from a spread of species will fight alongside you, with their own unique set of abilities. From a former mercenary to an eccentric wizard, they will be part of your journey with your choices shaping them as you help them with their quests.

Easy to get in to, captivation story, awesome graphics, actually so nice I've stopped to just take in he scenery multiple times. Good character controls and just plainly a great game.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Solid RPG, favoring streamlined systems and simplicity over hardcore simulationism/realism, with interesting lore and character progression. Combat is incredibly solid and smooth, with interesting weapon and effect. The story is very much "chosen one" but has incredibly depth of choice and decisions actually do feel incredibly impactful both in the main story and side quests, with decisions made early on having impacts in later areas, even in minor side quests. It is also a fairly interesting analysis of colonialism, racism, naturalism, and faith with a fairly nuanced view on alot of the issues discussed. Exploration is massively rewarded and encouraged and map size is large enough to enjoy without being filled with empty space or a meaningless slog back and forth, favoring a smaller busier open-world. Over-all worth the discount I bought it for, and for fans of RPGs or the Pillars of Eternity verse, I recommend.
Beautiful game, interesting characters, deep lore, many choices to make, strategic combat. What's not to like.
Хорошая игра!
7/10. Solid Skyrim like game for Pillars of Eternity franchise. Solid mechanics, good art design. Interesting world. Falls short on story, companion/character attachment and writing, and the stories overall emotional impact. Give it a try if it's around 30-40$ as the many hours I played were pretty fun, with only a few major lulls towards repetitive combat and dungeon diving near the end.
I just beat the game and thought it was pretty good. No regrets. I didn't find it shallow, and I know some are looking for super deep layer upon layers of complexity, to which it isn't. It is just a simple good old fashion adventure. There are still complications along the way, and some corny or odd choices, but all told I played through it over the past week or two and it held my attention just fine. I'd give it a solid 7 maybe 7.5 out of 10. BTW the graphics were pretty nice as well. The world and the different zones were very detailed, especially if you turn it up.
Better than expected, not a perfect game but enjoyable and has a lot of charm. THe good kind of 7/10 game.
A very solid 7.5 action RPG with a beautiful world and very fun combat carrying some odd design choices and uneven storytelling. While the overall narrative isn't groundbreaking and is pretty predictable in the back half, it still came with interesting choices that I, trying to RP the game, found compelling. I don't know how much those choices really impact the outcome of the game but I'll remember these moments more for how I felt, which of course is a "your mileage may vary" type statement. There are some fun quests and your four companions all have at least one shining moment that made me care about them. The world of the Living Lands is gorgeous to behold. Colorful and has a style that really stands out from a lot of generic fantasy grey stones everywhere type stuff we get these days. I can see the criticism about the open zones being too large for what they offer gameplay wise, but I was glad they had more room to show off the world and it's never "oh geez how much longer" big. The movement and light platforming you have to do is quick and forgiving. The combat is where the game really shines. Decent sized skill trees for your standard warrior/rogue/wizard archetypes that you aren't locked into. Every tree had abilities I wanted to try and the ability to respec at any time for little cost makes trying new things worthwhile. Simply dancing around the battlefield casting a fireball in a crowd before drawing your lightning pistol to line up a headshot is just really fun. There are lots of unique items that encourage experimentation or you can level up the first sword you get all the way to the end of the game. While enemy types aren't that interesting, they are serviceable. That said, your companions are mechanically less than stellar. Only one of them had the ability to draw aggro for my squishy lil wizard so he was always around. It was truly hard to tell how much they were helping in combat other than drawing heat away from me. Each one has a unique ability that they bring to exploration, but two of them can be replaces with spells, one of them I truly don't know what it did, and a fourth that I wish I could do myself without having to bring them around everywhere because they were my least favorite. A few other nitpicks: I experienced audio issues where if I was interrupted during casting certain spells, the sound would be reduced until I closed out of the game. I fell through the ground into the endless abyss once. Companions would trigger traps and start combat when I was trying to stealth. I hear a lot of people talk about "the fall of Obsidian". I think those people just hate every game that isn't New Vegas. And congrats for you because rather than get a sequel to this that I would love to see improved upon or more Outer Worlds, they've been ordered to make more Fallout. Not necessarily a bad thing, I just prefer the former IPs personally. This is still a good time as long as you have the right expectations: a 20-30 hour light RPG that makes you feel like a hero gameplay wise, even if not narratively as much.
I liked it quite a bit. Felt like a fantasy version of the outer worlds in terms of play style. Big fan of PoE1 and 2 so I was already invested in the world, and though it didn't hook me quite as much as either, I had a great time.
