fun and simple. A bit of a prep needed in this age where most of us no longer have music files stored on their computer, but it's a great chance to peruse through your old files from back in the day when you did store them all. It's a game that I constantly find myself running back to, especially whenever I get new albums and want to take my time enjoying them.
What a nostalgic throwback to when we kept out songs as mp3 files on our devices. This was THE rhythm game to play those songs with, since it generates tracks for you to ride based on mp3 files on your computer. The decoration around the track also reminds me of those weird psychedelic visuals that Windows XP would show while an mp3 was playing. For the gameplay, you drive along a road and swap lane to catch some notes, kinda like most rhythm games. But in this game, the road has bumps, hills and drops that depend on how your song is going, and the speed of your vehicle depends on the pace of the song. So it was pretty epic to climb up a hill leading up to a beat drop, and then drive down the hill at crazy speeds as the beat drops. I also remember playing local multiplayer, which was fun as hell too. Good memories...

Do you remember the Visualizer from Windows XP Media Player? If so, this game is basically it, ecept you can play your Songs while listening to it. I think you can also compare it to Beatsaber, except the Programm does the Map itself based on the Music on you PC. Its really relaxing. The only think i woud wish to add is, that you can also play Songs from you Spotify Playlist or other Music Services.

good
This game is timeless. I always come back to it because the music mapping is so good. Definitely still worth buying 18 years later. High recommendation!
This was my first ever Steam Purchase, and I use it as an example to console gamers of the long-term value of PC gaming and never rebuying your games ever again while also enjoying the benefits of hardware upgrades over the years. Yes, PCs cost more than consoles, but you'll more than make up for it over time with money saved on games, and unlike keeping an old console for old games, you can still play this on today's hardware at framerates and resolutions we only dreamed of 18 years ago.
