Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

About
“Shadows is some of the most fun I’ve had with a stealth game in a decade” —PC Gamer
Play as Naoe, a quick-witted shinobi, and use light, sound, and shadows to evade detection. Infiltrate enemy strongholds with many parkour options including the new grappling hook, distract guards with shuriken or smoke bombs, and assassinate your targets with your Hidden Blade. As the samurai Yasuke, use silent bow takedowns or unleash devastating melee combos with your katana or naginata.
Switch between these two heroes to adapt your strategy and experience feudal Japan through two radically different approaches – stealth and strength, shadows and steel.

Reviews
I approached this installment with low expectations, and thank goodness for that, because if I had been hoping for a hit, I would have been deeply disappointed. The setting of feudal Japan is a brilliant theme, but it was incredibly poorly executed. The plot is terribly stiff. Due to a badly written script, I couldn't connect with the characters' stories at all – even Naoe and Yasuke turned out to be quite bland in the end. On the positive side, however, I must praise the stealth system. It is highly enjoyable and probably the best stealth in the history of the entire series. The diverse weapon arsenal also stands out as a plus, though the enthusiasm fades when it comes to creating builds. The RPG system is shallow, as in practice, there are only 4 sensible gear configurations worth using. As someone who likes to complete games to 100%, I experienced a real ordeal here. Forcing the player to replay the same stages and clear domains—which requires over 30 hours of mindless grinding just to pop an achievement and never return to the game—is a pathetic and artificial way to prolong playtime. It shouldn't look like this in these types of games. In conclusion, the direction Ubisoft took simply hurts. The potential for a great story and Japanese atmosphere was completely wasted. The characters are boring, hard to like, and quickly forgotten, while the gameplay itself becomes terribly repetitive over time. Rating: A solid 6/10.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best KR #35, worst CA #97 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 20 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10.5 places towards #1, and the 2,491 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
