Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Aug 11 → 9/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a tough one, but I don't think I can recommend Assassin's Creed: Rogue. The thing is, its gameplay is solid. As solid as Black Flag, a legendary game. But that is this game's problem: Black Flag exists. Rogue stumbles when it has to present its own unique strengths. Its North American setting is less attractive than the Caribbean, for one, and the Colonial setting had more charm in Assassin's Creed III. Gameplay is largely the same as Black Flag, but naval combat and all related systems from Black Flag feel out of place here, tacked on as a means of efficiently reusing assets and systems from a corporate/development perspective rather than tailoring systems to this game's themes. Moreover, the naval navigation is not a good experience. Either the river map which is just too narrow, or the North Atlantic which is littered with Icebergs in certain part which are annoying during combat. Now, the narrative premise certainly sets it apart from every other (actual) Assassin's Creed game: we get to play as the Templars! At least, sort of? Gameplay is almost unchanged aside from a single new enemy type of note. So it still feels like playing either Black Flag or even AC III. Worse is that this feeling translates to the story itself as well. It's almost like Ubisoft just flipped the factions around in name and called it a day. The Assassins either feel like Templars in how they behave and are set up as antagonists, or simply behave stupidly as the plot demands it. The idea of controlling criminal networks is not unique to this game, but in Syndicate the Rooks did not have a monopoly on crime and had competition from Templar-backed gangs, and Ezio at most allied himself with thieves. The bigger sticking point is that, in those other games, the Templars controlled the cities still and you had to liberate them. In this game, we do the exact same thing because now the Assassins are in control of New York? They just switched Templars and Assassins around and called it a day. A shame, it would have been very cool to switch up the actual formula in meaningful ways. At the same time, the Templar side is neglected. Shay's disillusionment with the Creed could have been done better but at least it is there. The game does not try to justify the Templar side much. AC III did that better too when they were the actual antagonists. Here the pro-Templar argument boils down to one guy being honorable and wanting prosperity for the people and Shay simply following along. That's poor for the AC game where we supposedly get to play as the Templars. Part of this is due to a lack of development time, resources and ambition. This game is very short for Assassin's Creed standards, having only 6 instead of the usual 12 sequences. Taking into account that Shay's turn on the Brotherhood required 3 of those to set it up, we have only half of this game, or only 1/4th of a usual AC game, that was given to the Templar side. That's not nearly enough, about the same as AC III gave via Haytham. So all in all, the core premise of the game falls flat, and gameplay wise it is the same as Black Flag. So given the latter's existence, I'd recommend playing that one instead of Rogue. Unless you really want to experience it. It's not a bad game per se, just disappointing. Oh, and turn of windows auto-HDR otherewise the game won't launch. And there is a 60fps cap as well.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue was recommended to me a lot because of its story, so I went in with some expectations. The story itself was interesting enough, and playing from the Templar side was a nice change of perspective. It didn’t hit as hard as I expected, but at least it tried something different. The biggest problem is that the game is too short to properly develop its characters. You don’t spend enough time with most of them, so moments that could have been tragic or genuinely impactful end up feeling pretty flat. Some assassinations and conflicts clearly had the potential to be much stronger, but the game doesn’t give them enough dialogue, cutscenes, or breathing room. For a 7–8 hour game, too much of that time is spent on familiar gameplay instead of building up the story. Mechanically, most of it comes from Assassin’s Creed IV, so it still plays well enough. The naval combat is basically there too, but for some reason it didn’t feel as engaging to me as it did in Black Flag. Overall, Rogue is a good game with an interesting idea and solid mechanics, but it feels like a lot of potential was left on the table. 7/10 - A good game.
ASSASSin's creed
juego hermoso aunque algo corto
This was my first Assassin's Creed game. I came in expecting a simple action game, but ended up spending over 30 hours exploring instead of rushing the story. The naval combat is easily one of the best parts of the game. Upgrading the Morrigan, boarding enemy ships, and taking on massive warships never got boring. The world is also beautiful to explore, with plenty of islands, forts, and hidden locations that made me want to sail around instead of rushing the main story. Shay is a protagonist I really liked, and I enjoyed seeing the Assassin–Templar conflict from a different perspective. The first half of the story kept me thinking and questioning everyone's motives. My only complaint is that the final part of the story felt rushed. I wish Liam, Hope, and Chevalier had more development before the ending.
Glad I get to k*ll the assassins
