This game holds a special place in my heart. I've played it ages ago a lot and now I'm playing it again. It saddens me that League of Geeks has no plans to continue adding more to it as, despite being amazing as is, content drops could always be welcome to the dwindling community that still plays this. Maybe one day they decide to revert their decision and we will get more added to the game, honestly it would be a wish come true.
Armello is one of the best board games I have ever owned. It's a shame that we will no longer get any content updates for this game, but we are getting a tabletop version and the matchmaking servers are still going. Armello does an amazing job at blending Luck, Skill, Politics, and World Building. You will find yourself making plans for a turn and then watch as things unfold in unpredictable ways forcing you to adapt. The cast of characters in Armello will have you wanting to fight every creature and player on the board, to building settlement walls and using trickery to slow other players down, being consumed by the powers of darkness leaving nothing in your path, stealthy rats darting between tiles being ever unpredictable, gathering the spirit stones to cleanse the crown of the darkness, and so many more. My hope is that this game will somehow continue to live on for years with its wonderful little community and the kingdom of Armello will slowly add more to its cause: To steal the crown from the corrupted king by any means neccessary.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Solid gameplay, but the atmosphere is what really makes this game shine. Devs, what do we need to do to get an Armello animated miniseries from the art team?
Great Game, Dead Online Armello is an amazing and unique game with beautiful art and solid mechanics. It’s genuinely fun and well designed. Unfortunately, online matchmaking is basically unplayable. If you don’t have friends to play with, it’s a rough experience. That said, if you have three other friends, I definitely recommend this game. It shines in private matches.
It's definitely balanced in favor of the player, but it's one of, if not the best board game to video game adaptations ever. I love this game and have bought it on multiple platforms. A must play for solo-board game fans.
I don't hate it, but it's so so flawed. The artstyle is quite unique and it has a lot of cool and interesting mechaincs, but many of those mechanics don't tie in together well. I did every single victory to see what it's like, played with many characters, large amount of games (they don't take that long). It's essentially a multiplayer tabletop game where every character is playing a different game. Kinda like Root, except Root is good. Here, so often you just don't feel like you're in control. 2 of the four endings are very rng based (since you not only have to kill the king but not die in the process and he has a ton of dice), but too often someone else will just win on their own like nothing and rob you of your victory or die with the king (and then the prestige leader wins). It's frustrating when you feel like nothing you do matters. Usually I'd say get this on sale or something but just don't get it at all...
Le jeu n'arrête pas de se déconnecter quand je joue en ligne. C'est vraiment énervant et frustrant de ne pas savoir jouer une partie complète. Je ne recommande pas du tout ce jeu.
Seems like a neat game but I'm not sure I can recommend it. For a fairly well reviewed title, that's been sitting on my periphery of games that look interesting enough to try, I'm pretty disappointed after my brief introductory playthrough. The game seems to be in state of technical decay. I crashed 4 times just trying to play through the tutorial. Graphical options are limited, a lesser issue, as the game is toaster friendly. Playing games rewarded me with chests which spat out a 'Failed to connect to server' error whenever I attempted to open one. And it would seem Multiplayer Matchmaking is either dead or requires a blood ritual by moonlight to connect. Something that bothered me was the visual clarity. Normally for this type of game you want to zoom out and get a good idea of the state of the board. However the zoom is quite limited, forcing you to drag the board around often to see what is happening, but there is also the baffling decision to blanket the screen in a horrible white fog which obscures clarity further! Yes, it's 'clouds' but it's also ugly and annoying, and can't be turned off through normal means. There is a Follow Player camera that should be helpful for assessing the situation and yet it felt in-elegant. Whenever you drag the board around, and you will due to the issue mentioned above, the auto-follow disables. You have to then click a little icon to turn it back on (or possible hit some hotkey). Stealth is a mechanic of the game and player characters often engage in it. Naturally the camera shouldn't follow a stealthy boy but then you are once again dragging the board around to survey and think your next move. The auto-follow disables and once more you must turn it on. It really starts to add up how often you must do this and I can't help but think there was a better way to implement the feature. That's a bit of a giga-nitpick, I imagine for players familiar with the game they don't care about the auto-follow at all. But my point is it speaks to the certain lack of polish I felt from the game. Maybe my standards are unrealistically high but for a product so well reviewed and matured I was prepared for a smoother first taste than I got. I will say I really like the art, the music is enjoyable and fitting, it's easy to pick up and learn the basics with clear amount of depth to dig into, and games are quick (relatively) which is a bonus. Multiplayer board games which let you ruin your opponent's day and break friendships apart are one of my favourite genres. And the game was dirt cheap on sale!
Slight learning curve, but a fun, quick game once you get the hang of it. You may need to play a few matches just to understand the mechanics. I find myself playing game after game.
