Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney What a way to start this trilogy off. Turnabout Trump is the best starting case in the entire series counting spinoffs, it is such a good introduction with such good intrigue. The next two cases are fine, good even, but nothing to really write home about aside from the introduction of Klavier Gavin who is awesome and I deeply love. Turnabout Succession is a pretty contentious case but I just love it, the way it plays with the timeline and connects to the first case is so incredibly satisfying. I also just love Apollo himself, a lot of people like to point out he's really not that relevant to the plot and they're not really wrong but I honestly just don't care all that much, he's such a fun character to be around. He also has the best voice lines in the series and they completely butchered them in the next games and I'll never forgive Capcom (seriously the way he yells "Objection!" is music to my ears every time). Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Man do some people hate this game, and look, I kinda get it, but Dual Destinies is so deeply elevated by the mere presence of Athena Cykes and my personal favorite gameplay gimmick, the Mood Matrix, that even the fact that she doesn't get enough time as a protagonist only barely brings it down. There is something about this character that somehow manages to override all my critical sensibilities. Like, sure, Turnabout Countdown is a fairly middling first case and The Monstrous Turnabout isn't appreciably better and the whole "Dark Age of the Law" thing feels very tacky and shallow, but have you SEEN Athena?! Anyway, not to suggest Dual Destinies doesn't have good cases or stories to tell, far from it, it's my favorite game in the trilogy and that's for a reason. Turnabout Academy is an excellent case with a great setting and characters (and the only case where Athena is the protagonist for its entirety!), Turnabout Reclaimed is an extremely fun case and honestly, the only one in the entire franchise where I was looking forward more to the investigation than the trial, and Turnabout for Tomorrow is a bonafide masterpiece with a deeply compelling mystery and some of the most poignant and dark themes in the series. Also did I mention Blackquill? He's great, and his dynamic with Athena is one of the best in Ace Attorney. Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice This is a weird one. Despite not starting with its best foot forward with The Foreign Turnabout, not only the weakest starting case but the weakest one generally in the entire trilogy, Spirit of Justice follows it up with nothing but good episodes, and its pacing is aided by going back and forth between the settings of Khura'in and Japanifornia. The mysteries might be a little convoluted sometimes, especially with the introduction of the Seances, but there's really not much to complain about. Even the somewhat controversial Turnabout Storyteller I found to be very good, especially due to having one of the best witnesses in the series in Uendo Toneido (who is honestly only second to The Great Ace Attorney's Skulkin Brothers). Still, despite Spirit of Justice being one of the more consistent games in the series and enjoying it greatly, it doesn't excite me as much as the first two in the trilogy. It doesn't reach the level of novelty of Apollo Justice or the boundless charm of Dual Destinies, and Nahyuta, while receiving much less credit than he deserves, is still the weakest prosecutor in the series. He's much more nuanced and interesting than people make him out to be, but he still doesn't have that X factor that makes every other prosecutor feel so vivid and fun. Turnabout Revolution, while still being the best case in the game, having a lot of suspense and excitement and a very clever twist, is probably my least favorite final case in the mainline Ace Attorney games (don't get me wrong, it's still VERY good). Still, Athena is here and despite her hair strangely being a lot less orange I love her just as much, Apollo gets a nice wrap-up to his sometimes confusing and confused character, seeing Maya again after all this time was wonderful and Phoenix is just Phoenix and I honestly couldn't ask for much more.
Honestly this trilogy is definitely a letdown compared to the first. 4 is bearable because the mechanics are fun (although the story is mid), but 5 & 6 are a total slog to get through. In those, the mechanics are way too gamified. Therapy session in court? cmon man. Seances were interesting, but theyre all done in a overly misleading way. The graphics are severely inferior as well; it just looks really off. If the writing was decent it would at least be worth it to get through but its so awful. Literally all of the stories have the shakiest testimonies & evidence that you're wondering how this is even in court. The pacing is so bad as well that I had to enable skip text. Trials always follows this format: character presents evidence, prosecutor calls him dumb, character makes silly face with the camera slowly paning, repeat until the witness incriminates themself.
My recommendation on this one is a little nuanced. If you have never played an ace attorney game, you most certainly should start with the original trilogy. Not only does it contain vital background knowledge of the characters and circumstances, the experience of those three games is far greater than that of these three. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney is a fine game, but just that: fine. If you skip the second case, it is a good game. Turnabout Corner gets my vote for by far the worst case in the series. It will sour the experience. Case 1 is fantastic, case three is quite good, and case 4 is a mixed bag. Great in parts, sorely lacking in others. Overall, it's an enjoyable game. Dual Destinies is not, however. Despite the praise it gets, I found myself bored and uninterested for long stretches of time. Besides Athena and Blackquill, I was simply not enthralled or entertained by any other characters that were introduced in this game. The final case is lauded by the community, but in my eyes it falls severely short of being great, and is just "good." Spirit of Justice, now theres a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME. After the disappointment of AJ and DD, SOJ renewed my faith in the series. Simply great. A dragon never yields.
