A dystopian simulator where your choices shape a decaying city. Join other players to protect the metropolis from ruin, hasten its downfall, or simply work in the factories. With no set goals or rules, every action has consequences in a world teetering on the brink.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Enter ANEURISM IV, a sprawling metropolis where the proletariat works without question and the air is thick with decay. As a Spirit—a spectral entity on the verge of becoming flesh and bone—you stand at a crossroads. The city is yours to influence, disrupt, or simply observe. With no set goals or rules, how you engage with this world is entirely up to you.
From the hardworking Prole to the affluent Banker, each fate offers unique abilities, challenges, and ways to interact with the city and its inhabitants. Your choice defines your journey:
Align with the Cortex to stabilize and protect the city.
Join the Scumbags or Zealots to spread the Rot and sow chaos.
Remain Neutral and immerse yourself in daily life, working in factories or exploring the city.
An ever-present threat, the Rot visibly alters the city as it spreads. Roles like Liquidators and Scumbags are pivotal in either containing or exploiting this menace. If left unchecked, the Rot will consume everything, leading to the city's demise.
ANEURISM IV is a sandbox simulator first and foremost. The city reacts dynamically to player actions:
Take Down the City: Collaborate with others to bring about the city's downfall and witness its reset.
Protect the City: Work to maintain order and keep the Rot at bay.
Live Your Life: Engage in everyday activities or carve out a unique path—it's your choice.
Survival depends on your willingness to work. Earn credits by taking on various jobs—labour in factories, manage resources as a Prole, or manipulate finances as a Banker. These credits are your lifeline, allowing you to purchase necessities from shops, trade for valuable goods, or invest in property.
In ANEURISM IV, there are no rules dictating your actions. Every decision you make impacts the city and its inhabitants. Will you bring stability or chaos? The choice is yours.
Total Freedom: No imposed objectives. Play your way.
Dynamic Consequences: Every action influences the world around you.
Multiplayer Interaction: Invite friends to join your world—collaborate, compete, or coexist.
Survival Mechanics: Manage your nourishment and sanity in an oppressive, ever-changing environment.

I personally really enjoy this game I see some people not recommending this game if you're a woman but I've played this game with two of my friends who both are women and none of them have gotten trolled anymore than I have. Sometimes not at all, the game has its issues for sure but its super fun if you like the dystopian dark RP aspects of the game. They recently added a huge penalty for killing innocent players to many time which requires you to pretty much do the most boring dull task for 30 minutes straight. I've never once been killed while doing nothing, I've had people hit me but the guards typically kill them before they're able to finish it. the hardest part of this game is starting off so you can get an actual job where random grunts (the starting job) aren't just gonna steal your stuff and kill you. As well as learning the map itself, I think this game is very fun the vibe is fantastic the music is great and while it hardly gets anymore updates its very fun if you have a handful of friends to play with. if you like proximity chat games and dont mind the more chaotic nature of a game with zero rules this game is for you its really fun People seem to keep DDOsing the servers which is kind of sucks but im sure some simple ddos protection for the servers is all its gonna really take to fix that aspect. Overall I think this game is very fun if you got a couple of buds to go travel in a pack with this game I can see be very punishing for a solo player.
I do love this game and it's vibes as well as the general experience, but the devs really need to add some sort of scaling factor to account for servers with 60+ people and like 2/3rds being proles. Just like starting the ration factory cap at 40 and then increasing it by 10 for every 10 players over 30 or 40 based on a check of how many people were on the server during the start of the last ration cycle would help a good deal.
First game woke up in a dumpster then had a demonic horror interrogate me, said I was fine, I said bye and ran wanting to find a place that didn't look like the arsehole of satan, he chased me going 50mph and puked on me till I died. Overall experience: 10/10 amazing, recommend the experience
unemployed simulator. very fun game, brings a very unique gaming experience. the best way i can explain it is like a hard core gmod darkrp, where everyone is dirt poor. I made a living out of selling as a prole (the starting hobo class), fermented feces to a guard who would confiscate my intoxicating goop, pay me a sum of credits and most importantly NOT arrest me. He looked good on his resume, I got paid to poop in a bottle. Fascinating. however, requires a ridiculous amount of time to get invested and do anything. I give it a 7/10, would be frothing at the mouth if i didnt have to adult and pay bills
If I could pick an in-between option, I would. I love this game, truly! I've met people there, laughed and enjoyed the mindless grinding for credits and currency. However, I find that there's some issues. Principally, the playerbase. I'm not surprised that the playerbase of such a game is mostly composed by men and therefore toxic... but A4 was really a shock. Between racism, harassment/killing/stalking because of genders, homophobia and god knows what else, it honestly takes a lot from the game. In the same branch, the griefing is monstrous. You want to punch some iron ores? Well hurry up before guy#2838 steals your fresh ingot for himself! Want to do some laundry? Don't you dare look away from it as you fold, because everyone is gonna snatch it! Next is the map(s). The first map is, understandably, more populated. We know our way around, know where to run off to when ♥♥♥♥ goes down. The newer one, however, is TOO MUCH of a maze. So many new things that players have a hard time sticking with because of, in my opinion, the lack of life. That brings me to my third point. Nothing is explained. A new player will hop on the game and be absolutely lost and will have a 50% chance to have someone help them around instead of killing them. This applies to the new map too: what the hell is the distillery? What the hell is the club? How does the new metalworks... work? At least, the wiki is being expended — god forbid you dared try to look up something before the revamp or whatever. This is less of a game building/development matter and more of a community one: nothing is monitored. I know I'm not the only one who's bothered by it, too. It goes hand in hand with the toxic playerbase and I seriously think that a NEUTRAL (because apparently the mods and devs are biased) handful of game mods could be a breath of fresh air. It's lovely seeing this game grow and get new mechanics, buildings, lore, etc. But it's also so exhausting that it's impossible to play more than twice a week. I have a lot of hope for A4 in the future.
