A dystopian simulator where your choices shape a decaying city. Join other players to protect the metropolis from ruin, hasten its downfall, or simply work in the factories. With no set goals or rules, every action has consequences in a world teetering on the brink.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Enter ANEURISM IV, a sprawling metropolis where the proletariat works without question and the air is thick with decay. As a Spirit—a spectral entity on the verge of becoming flesh and bone—you stand at a crossroads. The city is yours to influence, disrupt, or simply observe. With no set goals or rules, how you engage with this world is entirely up to you.
From the hardworking Prole to the affluent Banker, each fate offers unique abilities, challenges, and ways to interact with the city and its inhabitants. Your choice defines your journey:
Align with the Cortex to stabilize and protect the city.
Join the Scumbags or Zealots to spread the Rot and sow chaos.
Remain Neutral and immerse yourself in daily life, working in factories or exploring the city.
An ever-present threat, the Rot visibly alters the city as it spreads. Roles like Liquidators and Scumbags are pivotal in either containing or exploiting this menace. If left unchecked, the Rot will consume everything, leading to the city's demise.
ANEURISM IV is a sandbox simulator first and foremost. The city reacts dynamically to player actions:
Take Down the City: Collaborate with others to bring about the city's downfall and witness its reset.
Protect the City: Work to maintain order and keep the Rot at bay.
Live Your Life: Engage in everyday activities or carve out a unique path—it's your choice.
Survival depends on your willingness to work. Earn credits by taking on various jobs—labour in factories, manage resources as a Prole, or manipulate finances as a Banker. These credits are your lifeline, allowing you to purchase necessities from shops, trade for valuable goods, or invest in property.
In ANEURISM IV, there are no rules dictating your actions. Every decision you make impacts the city and its inhabitants. Will you bring stability or chaos? The choice is yours.
Total Freedom: No imposed objectives. Play your way.
Dynamic Consequences: Every action influences the world around you.
Multiplayer Interaction: Invite friends to join your world—collaborate, compete, or coexist.
Survival Mechanics: Manage your nourishment and sanity in an oppressive, ever-changing environment.

Within 50 minutes I washed, dried, and folded clothes for 12¢. I paid my taxes, paid off the cops, give 2¢ to a guy making bootleg liquor. I watered crops with sludge drank cyanide, died. Joined a gang started a gang war and watched a guy use a flame thrower. Recommend.
i love this game, dont buy it though. The servers are mostly dead, the times i had a year ago are some of the most memorable in gaming. To tell the truth i think the game was always fine. It had some frustrating aspects that the more dedicated would use to control the servers and ways to get around it came and went. I long to experience the peak of this game once more, but knowing what it is most dont even feel the game is worth it. You need a certain love for chaos, nothing goes as planned here. I hope once more a surge of players comes around, ill be back, thats for certain.
Great atmosphere, wish we had more players... Rogue best class
The other day ive got into a staring contest with a prole, a real close one. after 5 seconds of staring the other prole said "why so close" and 5 more seconds after that we both, IN SYNC pulled out our knifes and started stabbing each other. Then i got home and opened aneurism 4 Jokes over now for real. There are some issues. One I have noticed is that the dealer is not in a good spot even after the buffs. What i imagined, probably with many others is that the dealer is supposed to be a link between the scumbag world and the world above. i was wrong scumbags often dont need trinkets and cuircits, even though they are pretty rare down in their loot pool, because many scumbags stock pile both of these items as proles into their lockers, so they can use them later as scums. scums also often dont want to sell any meaningful contraband. often what happens is that scumbags sell you a shotgun, that you later pass onto someone else up above, just so you can find out few minutes later, that that someone else decided to go on a rampage and slaughtering 3 scumbags. scumbags dont want to sell contraband just so they can get killed by it later. proles are not incentivised into doing chaos with the contraband. the only places they are incentivised to do chaos with it is the place where the contraband originates from. the only real way to play dealer is to gather useful things from the surface and give them to the scum bellow for exchange for small useless contraband like gunpowder or old ammo etc. and trade that for money to the vent. The problem with this is that instead of being the connecting independent infrastructure of the city with its own interests, you become a fetch boy and an extension for the scum. the taxes also dont help. Somehow selling pointless contraband to the vents makes more money then selling real contraband to actual people after all the expenses like taxes.
although i love this game, i cannot reccomend because of its player base and some mechanisc, first, most of the players gonna steal you and you cant do nothing about it, because if you do, you gonna lose "karma" and also most of the players tend to help more of the rot (the antagonists of the game), than the cortex (the cops), so it normally almost every day the server will reset, because the city has rotten and everybody progress will be wiped, this system its very interresting on paper, but very annoing when playing, because at end of the day, everything that you do, will be for nothing, so there are only two ways to play this game right now, or you play like a psycho, stealing from others and being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ menace, or you play like a scumbag (rot), and ruin the server, you can also try to ignore people stealing from you and etc, but this is just meh.
this is america
