A dystopian simulator where your choices shape a decaying city. Join other players to protect the metropolis from ruin, hasten its downfall, or simply work in the factories. With no set goals or rules, every action has consequences in a world teetering on the brink.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Enter ANEURISM IV, a sprawling metropolis where the proletariat works without question and the air is thick with decay. As a Spirit—a spectral entity on the verge of becoming flesh and bone—you stand at a crossroads. The city is yours to influence, disrupt, or simply observe. With no set goals or rules, how you engage with this world is entirely up to you.
From the hardworking Prole to the affluent Banker, each fate offers unique abilities, challenges, and ways to interact with the city and its inhabitants. Your choice defines your journey:
Align with the Cortex to stabilize and protect the city.
Join the Scumbags or Zealots to spread the Rot and sow chaos.
Remain Neutral and immerse yourself in daily life, working in factories or exploring the city.
An ever-present threat, the Rot visibly alters the city as it spreads. Roles like Liquidators and Scumbags are pivotal in either containing or exploiting this menace. If left unchecked, the Rot will consume everything, leading to the city's demise.
ANEURISM IV is a sandbox simulator first and foremost. The city reacts dynamically to player actions:
Take Down the City: Collaborate with others to bring about the city's downfall and witness its reset.
Protect the City: Work to maintain order and keep the Rot at bay.
Live Your Life: Engage in everyday activities or carve out a unique path—it's your choice.
Survival depends on your willingness to work. Earn credits by taking on various jobs—labour in factories, manage resources as a Prole, or manipulate finances as a Banker. These credits are your lifeline, allowing you to purchase necessities from shops, trade for valuable goods, or invest in property.
In ANEURISM IV, there are no rules dictating your actions. Every decision you make impacts the city and its inhabitants. Will you bring stability or chaos? The choice is yours.
Total Freedom: No imposed objectives. Play your way.
Dynamic Consequences: Every action influences the world around you.
Multiplayer Interaction: Invite friends to join your world—collaborate, compete, or coexist.
Survival Mechanics: Manage your nourishment and sanity in an oppressive, ever-changing environment.

I dont like this game, but I dont hate it ither. Its not bad by itself but there is JUST SO MUCH ♥♥♥♥. most people you meet are ither trying to get money as you, or trying to make everyones life hell. YOU WILL NOT get housing, just accept that sadly. YOU WILL get killed when you try. WHY YOU WILL get killed? Because someone decided, hey, I hate myself, and think others should suffer because of it (i refuse to belive thoese people are sane/happy with their life) you probably will never get to rot a server because people who HAVE BOUGHT housing, will spawncamp the ♥♥♥♥ outa you the moment you try And also ballancing... not so long ago they decided to make the game slower, well, they did that. I dont really see difference. They added more food, wich is good, they also added the no grief stuff, so that you cant just kill everyone... its basically none existing Will i play this game? probably. Will i enjoy it? probably for 10 minutes. Will i inevidibly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ die from a prole with a 2 shot pickaxe to head? absolutely Pls do not play this game, its not worth your sanity
i dont know how to email you guys directly. but i need this game to run better then 20 fps. if you could opt in to the geforce now cloud gaming services, so i can get back into this game. i know this might be the wrong way to go about this.
I've put almost 450 hours into this game for almost over a year now and I can say for certain that I both hated (in a good way) and loved every second of it. This genre of game and its gameplay mechanics is something so unique and different from what I normally play and I like it. This game is the definition of Murphy's Law and that "anything that can go wrong, will go wrong" The gritty atmospheric environment, character designs, game mechanics, hidden bits of lore/story, and most of the game's community are just some of the things that I like about ANEURISM IV. Although I will say this, the game is very brutal and will make you crash out from time to time with how harsh both the game and other players can be at times. But in the end if your able to get past all of the random bulls**t then this game can be pretty fun. Onto the matter of the state of the game currently I'll say this. I may not speak for everyone's opinions but ANEURISM IV is going on a bit of a downward spiral at the moment. Some of the updates this game received I did like and helped kept things interesting and new. But some of it also either made things more difficult or unbearable like the karma system. Making it to were it only takes killing one person to ruin you progress whether it be accidental or by a troll/griefer and you end up getting killed and sent to the slave camp. Despite the recent changes and hiccups this games' got I still love ANEURISM IV with a passion and I don't want this game to die and be lost forever. I want people to know about this game and love it for the same reasons that I do. To wrap things up I'll say this. I like this game and I encourage people to at least give it a try and experience it for themselves. If your looking for something different to play that revolves around long, grueling high risk high reward type gameplay. The feeling of becoming the wealthiest player in the server by running your own arms/drug dealership. Becoming an anarchist and committing crime against a totalitarian dictatorship. Play as the "good guys" and stop the scumbags and bring order for the Cortex. Or to be caught in the middle of a gun fight and dying, losing your Government issued ration in the process. Then this game is for you. Even though this game may have a few flaws and imperfections all of that is outweighed by the goofy, creative fun that came out from it. I trust the process and I do believe Vellocet has bigger plans in the future for ANEURISM IV. And remember. Glory to the Counsel! Glory to the Cortex! Glory to ANEURISM IV! PRAISE THE ROT!
All begins from a basis of survival. Each fate feels unique and significant in its own way My advice for having fun in the game is to not get attached to your fate and embrace oportunities for RP. Part of the magic is learning the ropes. Your goal could be as simple as a different fate or a scheme spanning the city and working towards it feels significant. Be part of something bigger than yourself or forget about the bigger picture and just have fun together with the other players. You are part of the things that animate the city. And you are a letter in its story. Through every fate that you take up
What fun you can derive from this game will be squashed by an unemployable and undesired dildo of a human who decides their immediate-gratification enjoyment in every single moment takes precedent over all others'. The concepts of nuance and moving on do not exist in this community that struggles to fill even a single server, because former players were driven away either from constant and targeted griefing, or the game's inability to make enduring the bad actors worth it. Do not buy this dying game, and let these failed abortions starve and waste money finding somewhere new to go.
dissapointing because this was actually heat once
