For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've owned this game for a while and finally got around playing it. I thought the rubbing stomach mechanic was a little confusing and a little cringe. However... This is a FANTASTIC horror game! As good as SOMA and maybe better. Well worth playing. Don't bother waiting for a sale if you like horror games. Just buy it and play it. You will love it. Deep engaging story Fun puzzles with just enough challenge Good graphics for the time Excellent world building and level design Fun and intuitive game play (except the rubbing the stomach thing) Adds some new and interesting layers to the Amnesia lore. Frictional Games just keeps getting better. Don't ever change.
This game pleasantly surprised me. It very much reminded me of Outlast 2 with it's environment and also mechanics. This was a definite improvement over AMFP in basically every way. (Linked to TDD) Really enjoyed it, will replay someday.
game sucks
That was unexpected. My first incounter with Amnesia games . I'm a little disappointed about all of three endings, but i choose ending with lowest percent achieved. I think it's open end, so i can belive that is the good choise.
Quando você se cura da amnesia, você realmente renasce.
Spoiler free. Pros: - amazing world building and environment; - eerie and creepy enemies; - right balance of darkness for the fear factor and some lighting to allow you to proceed; - the story hits you in the guts; - I usually don't rate much jumpscares, but I liked the ones presented here. Cons: - excessive use of flashbacks and moments with the protagonist speaking alone, particularly during the beginning, which break pacing and reduce immersion; - the way the story deals with Tasi's amnesia is too contrived, I think it would have been better to discover things rather than remember them; - a couple of events are not immediate to grasp, at least until Tasi drops the so obvious explanation for the audience by speaking alone; - puzzles are not particularly rich, I would have added more; - once you discover how much you are really in danger, where it is, and what are the real consequences, the immersion suffers; - explaining too much of the mythos behind the series reduces the impact of the supernatural and mystery, it's a bit the same issue that the Alien saga suffered by letting you know even the postal code of the xenomorph. Conclusions: - a good interactive story with crude emotions and wonderful environment for the first time, albeit I don't think it has much replayability for me, unlike SOMA where gameplay and storytelling proceeded smoothly in one flow here they are a bit fragmented; - the game is obviously inspired by SOMA in that it puts more emphasis on personal engagement, surprise-not-so-surprise revelations, and shock value of the decisions (there are even some assets clearly recycled!), while The Dark Descent is connected through monsters being scripted encounters rather than fixed puzzles, the multiple choices endings, and the value of darkness as an active generator of fear; - the theme is so intimate and delicate that the depicted tragedy is really sad, so beware if you are emotional. 7/10
