From the creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Dear Esther comes a new first-person horrorgame that will drag you to the depths of greed, power and madness. It will bury its snout into your ribs and it will eat your heart.

A step down from Amnesia: The Dark Descent in every way except for sound design. Essentially a horror-themed walking sim with little input from the player other than moving forward. I had fun with first game because of its game play elements from figuring out interesting puzzles to battling my own sanity in a dance between light and dark, but in Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, you only have to avoid a threat every once in a while, which is ridiculously easy. It was a mistake to have The Chinese Room develop this with the Amnesia title slapped on. Actually not a bad horror game by its own right, though. One more thing, the game crashes way too often, resetting progress to the last save. This has been an issue since release. Shoddy work on a technical level. The first game did not have this problem (for me).
Theres a pig stuck in my blender this game helped me fish him out 10/10

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

un cariño enorme le tengo
Scary
A very bad game that I regret purchasing. Avoid.

The removal of sanity and the inventory coupled with unlimited fuel for your lantern do drag the gameplay down as you never feel like you're in danger. This is combined with the far fewer legitimate encounters with monsters where you can actually die. However, I think the game makes up for these issues heavily with the atmosphere and story. Even if you can pretty easily predict certain parts of the story, it's interesting enough to keep you engaged throughout. The only technical issue I had was the game artificially limiting framerates to 40 FPS, but this was easily fixed by changing a config option in the main config file. Otherwise, the game ran fine on both the native Linux build and Proton GE.
