From the creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Dear Esther comes a new first-person horrorgame that will drag you to the depths of greed, power and madness. It will bury its snout into your ribs and it will eat your heart.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The sound design in the game is top notch, and it has a really dark tone that immerses you. Great game if you are into horror games. Can't go wrong with any frictional game really.
Erm i like de uhhhh pig designs of uhh machine for pigs their like uhhh like goblins get drawn or some ♥♥♥♥
First playthrough review time. This game was made by a different studio, and the change in direction is clear. Many features that usually create tension are missing or greatly reduced. There is no real need to manage health or mental condition, and light can be used without any downside. Enemies rarely create fear, since their presence only causes minor warnings from a distance. Even the title choice, which centers on pigs, feels misplaced and does not match the tone the game seems to aim for. It would have been better if the developers had chosen another form of mutant creature as the main face of the game, instead of pigs, which don’t fit the game and clearly communicate that the creature design is not just unpleasant but also it’s physically repulsive atleast for me. The level design is another major issue. Progress follows a strict straight path, leaving no room for choice or exploration. Most enemy encounters are clearly planned, and sudden scares are used often instead of careful buildup. Large parts of the environments are blocked off, making movement confusing rather than meaningful. With fewer gameplay systems in place, puzzles are very simple and require little effort to solve. The story relies heavily on symbolism and abstract ideas from the start, which makes it difficult to understand. As the game continues, these ideas are pushed too strongly, causing the narrative to become unclear and excessive. In conclusion, the game lacks depth in its mechanics, suffers from weak level design, and presents a story that struggles to communicate its ideas clearly. It does not work well as a standalone experience.
funny pig creatures at the cost of being made by the chinese room
It is a linear story game rather than a horror game. Sometimes it’s vague what to do, there are almost no enemies, enemies are not dangerous/scary, and the gameplay is simple, but the story is captivating. A video of the lore would be better than playing it
Don't trust the mixed reviews. Please consider playing this game. 10/10 <3
A sequel to the legendary ''Dark Descent'' from any point of view, since the protagonist is a descendant of Daniel, the ''sinner-seeking-redemption'' protagonist from ''The Dark Descent'', who killed innocent people because of an evil power that wanted him dead, and only ''someone's blood'' could free him, taking his place instead, Oswald too has a brutal ''change of heart'', after losing his entire family, seeing all the mankind as ''filthy pigs'' and wanting to just ''slaughter'' them-until that comes to life, and becomes London's reality, through a ''murderous AI'' made by Oswald, called ''The Engineer''. A bit chaotic and small game, compared to the prior, but still a gem not just for the ''Amnesia'' franchise, but for the horror genre in general. Simple gameplay, and relatively simple achievements. If your favorite book is ''The Animal Farm'', then that game was made for you-and me. "Redeem yourselves! Redemption is at hand! Enter the cleansing and set your souls free! For you are born into filth and will die as pigs. Only through my redemption can you ascend to the skies and claim the heavens as your kingdom.'' ~The Engineer
