Lazy Review: Not particularly good but good enough for a recommendation on a heavy sale. Assuming you don't buy any DLC since if I'm being honest, the base game wasn't enticing enough for me to spend more on the title. I'm sure the DLC probably would curve a lot of my complaints such as new weapons and cosmetic items. But once again, if the base game isn't worth it then I will not spend more money on possibly having a good time. Difficulty: - REALLY REALLY bad, it is by far the laziest attempt of a difficulty curve which is pretty common for these type of games. They bloat enemy HP and Dmg as their difficulty curve. No new moveset or extra objectives, just bloated stats. If you play on easy then try their inferno(i forgot the highest difficulty name), you would essentially be playing the same game but one would be shorter since enemies actually die in a reasonable time. - Also NEED friends because the AI in the game is absolutely horrendous, like it's comical how bad they are in comparison to a chimp with a shotgun. Positives: - First playthrough can be fun since it's 'new' and its a shoot out game with friends. It meets the critera of going from point A to B then shoot some enemies and repeat. Unfortunately that's about it, nothing stellar occurs, I found myself enjoying it but nothing surprised me from this game that other titles don't provide. But if you're itching for a game like this then it gets the job done. - Multiplayer, I mean who doesn't like hanging out with friends in a non-competitive environment. No randoms to grief, only friends to grief. - Card modifiers, quite possibly the only saving grace of a interesting difficulty increase. It's sort of like halo where it restricts the player such as no hud, pistol only, etc... Probably a better difficulty modifier than the default selection. Negatives: - It's basic, I mentioned it before but it's nothing special that I couldn't get from any other title of a similar game. I don't even really feel immersed in the Alien environment, it's kinda just another shooter game. It's sorta the paradox as Aliens are not scary because we are able to kill such an abundance of them. GTFO is an example of an extreme to this, as that game is TOO difficult for most players but each encounter holds weight because of this. Aliens is the other extreme but in the opposite where it's a vibe game. Don't think too hard and enjoy it. - Weapons feel especially weak and money is way too difficult to get. There are weapons in the shop that I would love to buy but literally cannot afford because the amount of money per mission is so low. Granted I am playing the highest difficulty and using a lot of resources per run but it's insane how bad cashflow is. I am window shopping all the time.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Something about those hitmarkers and how well it runs on my steam deck is just doing it for me. The game is limited without friends to play with though. Even with optimized builds, you're not beating the hardest difficulty by yourself.
