Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best RU #60, worst BR #84 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Aug 25 → 27.29/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

great game even in 2026
Spooky scary good time. Murder hikers!? who knew

Pretty exhausting to finish, enjoy...
Jesus christ, how did Remedy go so wrong? Alan Wake, from a narrative perspective, is quite a great game: you've got suspense, intrigue, the supernatural and things in general you can't make sense of - yet. But the pacing let down so badly by the gameplay, where you're spending 95% of the game in a mediocrely designed forest. The absolute worst is the combat. Enemies constantly respawn in certain areas, and with the low ammo capacity you have, every shot has to count or you're screwed. The light mechanic is pretty novel, but so poor in execution; there are tons of enemies that come at you from different directions, and before you can weaken one, you've run out of batteries. By the time you dodge (which is just a pitiful excuse of an evasion mechanic), the weakened enemy is now shielded again and you have to repeat. It's not directly the combat that I hate though, despite how low quality it is - it's the effect it has on the pacing of the game. I thoroughly enjoy every bit of dialogue and cutscene the game has to give me, and yet all I feel like I'm doing is crossing log and after log, finding yet another blocked route that requires me to go through the woody alternative, or encountering another group of enemies that continue to be spammed at you just as filler content. You barely get any story, and unless you're actively going after the narrative pages, you start to miss out on the very well written story. I've played Quantum Break and Control, and those are such FANTASTIC games from Remedy that I still absolutely love them - but Alan Wake is so terrible I genuinely can't recommend it.
It's not a lake. It's a ocean.

One of the best storylines in gaming. Cant wait to explore more about this darkness. One thing i found annoying was the lack of stamina otherwise good game.
