Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 13 → 1.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
TAKE COMMAND OF THE NATION'S AIR DEFENSE
The sky is your battlefield. A hostile contact appears on radar. Is it a civilian airliner off course, or the prelude to a full-scale attack? Your job is to find out.
Air Defender is a high-stakes, real-time strategy simulation that puts you in the command chair of a national Air Defence network. From a top-down strategic view, you are the unseen hand responsible for detecting, identifying, and intercepting airborne threats. This is not a dogfighting game; you are not a pilot. You are the commander with access to the capabilities of multiple roles in the bunker, and the fate of the nation rests on your split-second decisions.
Analyse radar returns, scramble your Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) fighters, and manage your assets to protect your airspace. Every choice matters, and the consequences of failure are devastating.
High-Fidelity Command & Control: Take on the role of an Air Defense Commander. Manage a detailed radar network, interpret IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) data, and issue commands to your forces.
Scramble QRA Interceptors: Launch your fighter aircraft to investigate, shadow, or engage hostile contacts. Manage their fuel, weapons, and mission objectives in real-time.
Deep Information Warfare: Utilise authentic-inspired systems to build a complete picture of the battlespace. Monitor flight plans, analyse electronic warfare (EW) intelligence, and stay one step ahead of the enemy.
Intelligent Enemy AI: Face a dynamic adversary that will probe your defenses, launch coordinated attacks, and adapt to your strategy, creating a challenging and replayable experience.
Play Endless or complete Training Missions to become Combat Ready. In Endless, you will be challenged to spot the bad guys, ensure they don't sneak through, if you do, it could lead to all out war.
Welcome to the command center. The watch is yours.

Great game, literal definition of easy to learn hard to master. It's quite challenging to get a hang of things, especially if you had no knowledge before playing Air Defender.
⭐ Air Defender — Early Access Review A promising strategy experience focused on protecting UK airspace Air Defender introduces players to the complex, fast‑moving world of UK air defence, blending accessible strategy with authentic operational concepts. The game’s strongest feature is its educational value: players learn how radars, surveillance systems, and different aircraft roles work together to keep the skies safe. It’s a smart, engaging way to understand how layered defence actually functions. What begins as routine monitoring can escalate quickly into a full‑scale attack scenario, forcing players to make rapid, coordinated decisions. This escalation gives the game real tension and replayability, even in its early‑release state. Air Defender is still in active development, and that shows — but in a good way. The foundation is strong, the concept is compelling, and the potential for deeper mechanics, expanded aircraft rosters, and richer strategic layers is clear. It’s one of those early‑access titles where you genuinely look forward to seeing how it grows. Verdict: A thoughtful, educational strategy game with exciting potential. One to watch as development continues. PS don't forget to activate the bloodhounds.

Great, in-depth game to make your head hurt. Takes some thinking to balance resources and military effect. Full release will be awesome.
This game is - although in early access - already in a great shape. Air Defender is based on the immersion and tension around tactically observing the airspace of Great Britain in a post-coldwar-scenario of the past which - for me as a player - also feels like the tension one could feel in today’s world. The game does not need fancy and complex graphics. Neither would it profit from this. The very best thing about Air Defender is sound based. All the most and first of all there are dialogues, comms and chatter. The voices and what they say (in very British tongue) is what opens a believable atmosphere and will keep you on the screen for a long time. Also, the direct addressing of the player in the tutorials and qualifying is made with pure awesomeness! It feels like a nearly perfect game. Sure - early access pays it‘s price - there are still some things that not quite work the longer you play. Mostly in displaying and the UI. But many of the weird things disappear with saving and reloading the game (which I did not need to make too often although the current version state). Things this game will need to be 100% perfect at release: - Less repetive dialogues -give us more of these great voices and immersion, please. - Less repetive attack vectors - I‘m sure there will be more surprising attacks in future, not only the same routes from the same (yet getting more) attackers. - More hints to the Intel: It‘s currently easy to miss crucial Intel-Reports like those from Ships in the sea. Just give the user a hint that maybe something‘s going on down there which we probably just do not see on radar yet. - More single missions probably. To learn more about special tasks like the above mentioned (react to a ship‘s report, seek and ID the intruder) Overall - this game is a blast. It is a stunning example (and reminder) that immersion does not NEED fancy graphics and effects. It reminds me of the times just a few years before the played scenario. In the 80s and 90s the best games had immersion built up like this: You FEEL the immersion, no need to visually see it - the pictures one might miss on the screen will be added in your brain with the help of everything which IS present: A great story, a weightful task for the operator and one of the best dialogues and comms ever heard in such a game. If you like strategic games and the scenario of post coldwar and tension in the air - go grab your copy, you will like it! If you need action by explosions, camera shakes and maxing out your GPU - look somewhere else (or jump into DCS world and be the guy intercepting and not the one who controls and coordinates ;-) ). Personally I‘m very looking forward to what else this game will bring in the future. I‘m in. You managed to hook me!
So take this review with a grain of salt (I played on easy difficulty) but I played the combat ready mode and caught the enemy from doing literally anything and they actually just do nothing but fly over the UK for a long period of time before they just leave, in which you can put your interceptors back in position. Catching the enemy from doing anything is really easy if you set up CAP's around the UK. The reason why this is a negative review is because winning based off keeping all the scores high is very boring. Like keeping civilians happy, and not allowing the war to start. The personal performance is fine but "winning" by keeping the peace is boring. The enemy does nothing to start the war (if you know what you're doing) and so its really easy to keep the peace. Feel like this is a pretty big oversight that will be adjusted. "In Endless, you will be challenged to spot the bad guys, ensure they don't sneak through, if you do, it could lead to all out war." Even if they do get through you get hit with a small penalty that doesn't really do anything until like 4 or 5 spoofers get through and before that even happens I knew what I had to do and so that never happened. I do really like this game but this part of the game sucks. I will probably keep playing this game but like 4 hours and I already found a way to draw out the game indefinitely with some really boring gameplay. Idk I guess I just have to let the enemy kill me or I shoot them first for the game to actually get started. Also if ya'll are interested in knowing how this game runs, you won't really notice it because the game does act like a radar screen but at game start i get like 200 FPS and after a good amount of time you'll be at like 40 FPS. I do wish you could just configure how much civilian traffic there is because it does bog the game down a lot.

8/10 this game is simple in its design but it can offer seriously epic gameplay once you master it. the game literally starts up in seconds and you can be defending ours skies in under a minute. ++++++++++++++++++++GAMEPLAY+++++++++++++++++++ initially when it came out this game did have a few bugs, aircraft wouldn't intercept or enemy aircraft would randomly be come OP etc, its got a solid team (Ak Ak) behind it. and the discord is alive with helpful suggestions and effective troubleshoot team. gameplay is in it self easy with the speed tools, and if you take the time to master the game, the time spent on stint can be long but eventful. don't get me wrong after a while all you can see is green and the constant droll of the machinery in game "suggests a cool breeze". mostly either it kicks off pretty easy or it takes a while to build up, if you want it right then and here they've added an "instant action" mode. +++++++++++++IMPROVEMENT++++++++++++++++++ there's still a few bugs nothing major and a lot of it is just that every so often, a intercept won't intercept or a random tu-122 will slip in and you need to be bear F**king grills to find the F**ker but these are few and far between. apart from that most full missions/stints last about 1-1.5hours of gameplay, ++++++++++++IMPROVMENTS+++++++++++++++++ when you make a bobo of it there's this really annoying SOUTHERN English accent that tells you you've made a bobo, I f**KING HATE YOU YA AR**HOLE!!! going forward i'd like to see maybe expansions of either modern or older types, like using limited radars, spitfires etc etc or for the modern aspect F35s/typhoon. i think as well maybe having the yank bases operating independently would add an extra level of F**kery to the mix or even access to their aircraft unless the in-game orange taco man has his way. TLDR its a great game, its got bugs but its got a solid team behind it and the discord is phenomenal.
Great game, very engaging and challenging
