Without question one of the worst experiences I've ever had trying to play a game like this. No tutorial, no good description of controls or how to even set up anything (I don't have HOTAS right now) feels impossible to use VR hand controls to fly, no cold start on runway, poorly optimized and looks bad even on higher settings. This game looked so great, but it feels like the devs just sold me a lie. I hope they can implement some proper training in the game one day and optimize it better so my PC doesn't turn into a space heater. I'd happily try again then, but it was just nothing but frustration from the start.

Poorly Optimised UI is horrendous Motion Sickness Galore

I have no idea what this game is like because it has NEVER started on my Radeon 9070 XT. I bought it at launch, but I couldn't try it until now. Upon entering, a black screen, music, and then a crash. Okay, driver update, the latest one is installed. Then a clean installation, DDU in safe mode, followed by the driver, but the error is the same. Everything else works perfectly of course, even War Thunder, even though they have the same developers, so it is clearly a software issue. Okay, requesting a refund, but of course Steam won't give the money back because I'm past the 14 days, even though this is a NON-WORKING software which is a DEFECTIVE performance, and in such cases, the 14-day refund policy shouldn't be the guideline. I have 29 minutes of "playtime" in the game without having seen a single frame of it! Okay, maybe there would be some workaround if I kept scouring the net, but this is a finished software and I bought it at full price upon release, so it is expected that if the PC meets the requirements, the game should at least start. And Steam takes responsibility for nothing, even though it would be their job to enforce and address these shortcomings, but they are surely busy selling their lukewarm-performing, overpriced console.
This game is supposed to be playable with a HOTAS. It is NOT ! Whatever I tried (order of plugging and turning on, changing the usb ports, removing USB hub, even using joystick gremlin !), I never had working throttle and rudder. And the joke is that my HOTAS works perfectly in war thunder ! (and also in IL2 and DCS without having to make dozens of attempts). And, if it was not enough, when you try to to map your axes and buttons, the game remains locked on the mapping screen, waiting for an input that it is unable to manage ! And there is no esc button ! You must use alt tab to go out of the game and turn it off from the windows screen. What a nightmare ! What a joke ! Where are the programmers who worked so well on war thunder ?!
I’m really not sure what players expected, it wasn’t going to be a really super good game, it got delayed multiple times, but it’s worth it still, and unique to play

Awful controls
Потавил, не разобрался с настройками HOTAS, психанул, бросил. Через неделю вернулся, разобрался за 10 минут. Не знаю что мне мешало в первый раз. Игра топ
