A magical sandbox RPG, but I caution new players who play with only one save due to an "unfixable" in-game bug during Y1. This happens every time you start an 'Adventure' and the game just crashes then. I recommend having a number of 5 save files or more with a 7 in-game days gap from a previous save. Make it a habit to try an 'Adventure' every in-game day just to be sure. I hope I can make it to the end with my character. How else am I supposed to progress to the long-awaited Year 2? :c - EDIT - After browsing through the BCS forums, apparently the crash only occurs when you load/use both mods (Summer's Blush and First Touch of Summer) at the same time. Both are base game content with the only difference in DLC version. My advice is to use use only one: - Summer's Blush contains DLC 17 with minor updates: fixes on bugs (particularly if you're an avid duelist and clique in-fighting/break up prevention), UI functionality, typos, and tweaked game mechanics. - First Touch of Summer contains the previous DLCs. Should you choose to run your game with FToS there isn't that much of a grand change from DLC 17. The bugs won't affect 99% of your experience. As for content, of course DLC 17 will contain exclusives such as: a new skill/ability(?) and some adventures and new CC options. Academagia vets feel free to correct me on these info. c:

Its a very unique game that has not aged gracefully and sadly the series has been abandoned but its still worth experiencing on its own
Awesome adventure. The shear amount of options and way to play can keep you going for a long time. Wish we had a second season but I wouldn't let that stop you from playing.
If you are looking for a magic school simulator I can't reccommend this enough. Just dont expect a sequel.
I actually played tons of hours on this game before it was on Steam and had so much fun! You can really play anyone and the game is full of surprises. The real problem is that the sequel never came. Granted I had no idea how they would make a sequel considering how different each play through could be but there were promises made of ongoing relationships and eventual graduation which I'm sad didn't get followed through on at all. I think it says a lot that if that sequel came out even now I'd still rush to buy it.
Sometimes you just want to read a randomly generated story about kid wizards. This is great for those times.
muito bom
For those who like text games it is very nice. It's has inumerous possibilities, you can study a lot of different kind of magics and every aspect of life. It's impressive how many original subjects it has and everything you can do studying every one of them. You can also embark in adventures to make use of your skills. If there is anything bad about it, is that there is only the first year at school and the list of abilities can get pretty long and difficult to select what you want, but apart from that it is a great game. Some of the things you can do besides learning and using magic spells: forge items, battle, adventure, brew potions, take care of a magic familiar, explore a lot of places, join a clique and a lot of friends with unique abilities, play instruments, etc.
The ultimate stat raising magic school sim. I've been patiently waiting for the sequel for 14 years. Steep learning curve, mich replayability
I love this game, I was looking for a magical school equivalent to Long Live the Queen and found it
