Drone Swarm

Interesting setting. No really, it's kinda cool. But: The game mechanics are iffy and in my opinion too fast paced. If you make a more than minor mistake, you usually have to reload the level. Not big on that myself, but it might be alright for you. Its biggest problem is the writing. My god the writing. I don't really want to go into detail, but it's insultingly bad. ChatGPT could have done better. I mean it. It's basically 2 particular Star Trek episodes rolled into a game - without the depth, without the pacing, without the intrigue. Mike Stoklasa would probably compare it to modern Trek. And dont get me started on the awful cutscene artstyle. Uncanny valley times a hundred. Just have the dialogue ingame, thank you very much. I don't know who your creative director on this was, but I hope they're in another career now and took your writer with them. TL;DR: Even on sale, even for a dollar: Just no. You'll come out of with with a worse mood than you went in with and I hope you see this review first and stay the hell away from this.

One Of My Favourite Strategy Games, It's Just A Shame How Short It Is

It's by no means a perfect game, but I had fun for 7.5h. You can easily play the game for 15 minutes a day, because a single mission does not take more than 5-10 minutes. Then you get a little bit of story, some upgrades for your ship and the drones that you command. So you still feel like you accomplished something. The story is nice and contains a twist that keeps it interesting. So give it a try, it's not too expensive. The idea feels fresh, although the realization is not perfect. However, you see that the devs tried, they went into direct contact with the community and put a lot of effort into patches after the release. As always, Indie devs need all the support they can get.

Wysoce rozczarowujące. Miałem nadzieję na RTS w kosmosie, gdzie sterujemy setkami dronów różnego przeznaczenia. Zamiast tego dostałem niemalże prostacki 'puzzler' obity klimatami jakiejś space-opery i owych dronów. Całość jest drętwa i nudna, a kolejne plansze coraz mniej interesujące. Nawet nie pamiętam czy porzuciłem z nudów czy irytacji. Niech o popularności tej gry świadczy też 0 poradników Steam, co jest nieczęste w tak 'nowych' grach z masą osiągnięć.
