Reviews
This is a really fun 3D platformer with some additions from Crazy Taxi. It is over the top, so I recommend trying the demo to make sure it's for you. The level design and environments are pretty awesome, and the movement for the taxi has more depth then you'd expect.
I have zero nostalgia for the era and genre this game evokes, and I can still enjoy it! I love the depth of the movement. I really like the self-leveling system of collectathons, because you can explore an area and get as many gears as you want. But you don't have to catch them all; once you know the next area is available, you can keep exploring or move on. However I do not plan on finishing this. I got to an area (dreamland) that was extremely difficult, annoying, not fun at all. Videogames escalate difficulty since forever, and I can't even tell if the curve is off here. What I can tell you is that I am too old to put any more effort into replaying a section enough times to beat it. And the game didn't exactly earn points in any other department other than fun gameplay. There is no story or interesting world to engage with; it's just bright colors and whacky humor designed for kids. Speaking of kids, my five year old didn't like it that much either. And it's way too hard for him anyway. He played for about an hour. So I'm done with it. Enjoyed my time while it lasted. Don't really care to see how it ends. In fact, I don't even remember what the plot was and I just closed it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Yellow Taxi is a masterpiece. It's a lot of fun and very refreshing to play. It's super colorful, creative, playful and vibrant. The colors/style are beautiful and nostalgic. Reminiscent of N64 and PS1 games while also taking visual inspiration from retro arcade games. Gameplay/level design is inspired by Mario 64 but also pulls inspiration from Crazy Taxi and Sonic. It's a 3D platformer similar to Mario 64 only there's no jump button. Instead, you have to use a combination of boost, physics and level design to bounce and fly around. It's a bit challenging at first. But once you get the hang of it, you'll be zooming around the map no problem. The music is great. The humor is amazing - it's silly, random, satirical and self-aware. I frickin' love this game. It's a hidden gem and I'm really glad I found it. You won't regret playing this game. Tell everyone about it!
Super arcadey and feels good type of game. If that's what you like in your game, this is the perfect fit for you
Well polished, tight controls, good level design, a lot of secrets and perfect humor. Everything a 3D platformer needs!
only an hour in but I can already say this is the most fun ♥♥♥♥ i’ve played in a while
I'm a huge fan of driving games. I'm also a huge fan of 3D platforming collect-a-thon games. This is the perfect intersection (pun intended) of the two unlikely-to-be-paired genres. This game consistently delivers in its presentation and humor while feeling satisfying and rewarding. Overall I love it!!
One of the best 3D platformers
