It's good, very different take on a "shoot e'm up", I like the ship switching and how some types are better for some things, you gotta strategize

Great fun and quite addictive. I like the different kinds of ships although i wish there was more variety and perhaps a little customization. This would've been amazing with the ability to customize the ships with different kinds of weapons and such.
I really like this game. The shop mechanics are a /little bit/ stingy, but otherwise serviceable. I wouldn't mind more special abilities and permanent purchases. The combat mechanics are simple and nice, lots of variation in attackers. The heavy gunships are quite fun to battle. Combat is easy to pick up, moderate to master (it seems). My only complaint about this game is the mouse control. Normally I LOVE mouse controls over gamepad, but because this gives the illusion of being able to aim with the cursor, whereas it's only indicating where the ship will end up, it really throws off my ability to play effectively. You really get no sense of the limitation of ship maneuverability (which you get with the gamepad) so you often end up in bad situations when there are lots of fighters, or have to navigate asteroid fields. I would much prefer the mouse had a "gamepad simulator" mode, where it was effectively setting the velocity of the ship, indicating direction using a vector arrow centered on the ship, OR the cursor was ship-shaped, and the ship had a laser pointer direction indicator. Either of these control schemes/visual cues would separate it enough from traditional 2d mouse control system that the mouse would be far more natural to use.
Good simple shoot em up game from 10Tons studio. The shooting is simple yet satisfying, the warp technology in this game is insane, the ability to not take damage on your reaction feels so good. There's upgrades, Talent tree and multiple ships to choose from. The passives on the Ship are important, then the passives from Talent Tree The Warp mechanics is a "Last Minute" switch ship decision, where you have 4 ships to choose from, decide which one to wrap to ( Preferably play using Controller) Then before you are about to take damage, switch to another ship, then you can dodge the incoming attack. Hopefully there's a Xenoraid 2 or something like this in the future. 7/10 No Regrets
the controls on this game are so wonky i dunno how you are expected to hit anything
This is an absolute gem. Haven't had this much fun in this genre since Axelay on the SNES back in the early 90s. It's a failure of discovery and recommendation engines that this game didn't reach me years ago. How has it been 10 years and only 95 reviews?
