Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Chimera Squad is an enjoyable strategy game with a story that raises more questions than it answers. In discussing the movie V for Vendetta, the philosopher Zizek wrote that he was more interested in understanding how society would’ve reconstituted itself after the fall of the totalitarian government. Chimera Squad understands that the next logical step for the XCOM story is to ask, how do humans and the now freed species once enslaved by the Elders co-exist? The answer, it seems, involves nightclubs with snek aliens. The player commands a likable crew of XCOPS and there’s plenty of sci-fi cheese that the new XCOMs are known for. Yet, despite functioning as a decent XCOM experience, Chimera Squad’s world of tabloid journalism, underground crime rings, and uneasy interspecies coexistence are engaging but lack real grit. I’m less interested in stopping yet another robbery or Big Existential Threat than in the stories about inter-species tensions and comradery, the role of psionics in a world still rebuilding after a universal psionic brainwashing, and the nature of so-called peacekeeping forces when dissidents sometimes have a point. Those stories deserve an in-depth treatment that appears to be beyond the scope of an XCOM to satisfactorily tell. There is interesting world building and memorable moments. But perhaps a developer known for party based, turn based strategy RPGs with morally difficult choices could tell these stories better. I’d also have loved some follow-up about the abandoned cities filled with Lost. Are they still abandoned? Were the undead defeated? Then there’s the alien flora that sometimes appears on missions in XCOM 2. Can the xeno-plants cohabitate with Earth’s plant life, or are they an invasive species? Have they become a part of the normal diet of humans and aliens? I may never know the answers. But at least there’s XCOM 2 Bebop.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Una desastrosa secuela de un excelente Xcom 2. No es un mal juego, pero si una pesima secuela. Faltan las muertes permanentes y reclutamiento de nuevos soldados.
Fun take on the X-Com squad based tactical combat.
Pretty decent story, good ol' Xcom Turn Based SWAT game LOL ;)
This is not the XCOM you're looking for: ...<waves hand>...
Like a lot of reviewers I came here after playing XCOM 2, but I quite enjoyed this game. It's a much simpler, smaller, game but honestly it would actually be a nice intro to the series - it's fairly linear and more casual, but gets you used to the mechanics quite well, and the specific characters all have their own niche to sit in. Worth a purchase while it's on sale.
It's XCOM
I understand why fans of XCOM wouldn't like this one but I think it has its own charm
