Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

es muy entretenido!
I bought it at launch, got disgusted by the innitiative system, character customisation (or it's abscence) and the fact that at launch it was not working propperly with my monitor. Asked for a refund. Got the refund. And then grew up to it. And the game grew up to me, Spent 25 hours in two days just playing it, 10/10 rn. Once you get used to the innitiative system, it actually shines. But you need to approach it with an open mind, and not play it right after X-Com 2. ... also I did not realize how much Patchwork, a character in this game, was OP. I even walked it through with a suboptimal set up, since it gives you a couple missions at the end back to back, and Patchwork was "scarred", so I swapped her out for Verge. LOVE IT!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

eh
Kinda simplified compared to its predecessors, yet enjoyable. The addition of pre-made characters (as classes, basically) greatly enriched the story and it was fun to play around. Just have to ignore the silly cliffhanger at the end.
Bonjour. Bon jeu si vous aimez la licence. 2-3 nouveautés qui changent la façon de jouer. Par contre, je trouve le jeu un peut répétitif à la longue et je n' ai pas encore joué plus de 4 H. Mon avis changera surement au cours du jeu.
In general a nice spin-off for the XCOM series. Overall if you liked XCOM 1 and 2, you'll like this one. It's smaller in scale, but in the end I liked it. It didn't overstayed its welcome. Good: - The breach mechanic works well, better than I initially thought. At least for the length of the game. It's not perfect, but it's something fresh. - Encounters and enemies mechanics are (mostly) more balanced. It's clear Firaxis had experience from previous two games. Same about the general campaign flow. - Each agent being its own class is nice, makes for more variety and unique playstyles. It was satisfying to explore how different squad combinations work and synergize. And when I found a nice combo - it was fun Bad: - My biggest problem with this game is the general vibe. First, the general direction Firaxis took with the series, of different alien species living amongst humanity together, all that blabla. I don't like it. What makes it even worse is how cringe the agents/characters are. It's really the modern "Netflix" sensitivity in how they talk and behave, and in the end I didn't like any of them. - Story is okay during the investigations (nothing special, but not really bad), but in the end it's the classic reveal out of nowhere that's not satisfying. Too sudden and I didn't really feel the stakes. - I said the game is mostly balanced but there ARE some broken points - some agents are clearly more powerful than others (by the end of the game some were downing multiple baddies each turn, while others barely made a difference). There are some enemies which can quickly spiral out of control (yes, the Ronins). But it's not as bad as previous XCOM games. - The research part of base management was very meh
Mappe minuscole, poco rischio in genere. Un piccolo zuccherino a chi manca il frenchise di Xcom ma senza piena soddisfazione.
Meh. The game is a really strange addition that nobody wanted nor asked for.. For what it is, it's a decent game if picked up below 10€.. Please, devs. Give us a proper new XCOM entry. If the premise of this one was to be taken further, it'd be interesting to be the attacker and/or conquerer, utilising the aliens and their powers.
I am a big XCOM 2 fan and this game just gets me my fix ^^
It is decent.
