Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I don't like infinitely respawning enemies. I don't like having a team of totally different abilities (even weapons) - when I play XCom I standardise. It's just too hard for my liking. Too many moving parts for my taste. And I don't like interleaved turn order, I like "we go and then they go", like the originals.
Didn't like it at first but warmed up to it. Focusing around breaching is different from XCOM 2 but still feels like XCOM. The only thing I really don't like is the screen blur when performing breach attacks. hurts my eyes
Superb bang for your buck, a bit of a bare-bones XCOM experience, but if longer campaigns aren't your style you can definitely find some enjoyment in this one!
Это дерьмо своим существованием позорит серию XCOM.

In a few word: a MESS. It seems like a demo for sperimentation in a XCOM-like game. I always stand for try thing and new stuff, BUT you got to TEST IT. - Turn base combat doesn't work: in the normals XCOM a single turn was barely balanced for manage all alien counter, you were forced to make choises, tactics. Now, with turn base combat, the system alternate your soldier with one or two enemies before the turn of another soldier. That result in less tactics and more less choices, and impotence because what would change a single soldier for resolving a situation?! - Hero system is an interesting feature but where are the heroes feature? I mean seems like normal XCOM soldiers with base child-writing (sorry for bad english) personality, no hero skills, I don't know. - The balancing. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ balancing. Really frustrated. I played all XCOM, I think I'm decent with this games. The game alternate basic and very easy missions with nearly impossible ones. When you encounter the bosses of campain it is pratically impossible to beat them. - Level Design. Say goodbye to exploration and thoughtful positioning, now the maps are very very very small; so no tactic (i mean it's a tactic game for god sake), you got to go only for damage, no reason for think about squad member to positiong in base of their funcion, just stay in random place and shot or use an ability. Basically, other things don't works, it is not and XCOM game, it is a beta of an experiment with recicled assts all and ppoor desing. I love U guys but very cheap work.
Great game and fun to play! I like how they expanded the X-COM storyline. The game is mainly close quarters combat so be prepared for that. The characters are fun and have immersive personalities. Definitely worth buying.
The breaching mechanic is pretty cool, and the plot follows some pretty interesting implications for the XCOM future, with all the different aliens struggling in their own ways to fit into earth culture. Some of the art choices are a little rough, and it can't help but feel more limited than the previous XCOM games, but this is a pretty solid entry into the series.
