Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.43/day in the week to Sep 11 → 10.14/day in the week after.

Reviews
This game is horrifically obtuse. It does not have a learning curve. It has a ten mile high learning cliff without any hand or foot holds whatsoever. I have never been so frustrated. Here's hoping it's worth it.
This game sucks. Takes all day to complete a mission. Overly complicated mechanics. Poorly written instructions.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

8 years trying and the 9.00 release is still not a game for noobs with little time to ease in. The starter mission (cadet) is like a test you need to cram for. After an hour+ deciphering mission goals and the cryptic UI, I watched a 15 minute walkthrough that was more fun. I bet it's a lovely game if you are able to overcome the learning cliff.
love me a good space sandbox
Possibly the best space games ever made :D. 100% Recommend!!! Full living world!
Enjoyable game if you got more time to spare then a stellaris playthrough but unlike stellaris THIS GAME SUCKS TO MOD! Now like most game when an update comes out it usually breaks all the mods so trying to find which mod is crashing the game can be tedious. This game also doesnt have a very active player base so some mods are just lost to the abyss but for this game in particular is arguably the worse i have ever seen in gaming. First, this game doesnt give you a crash report so if you want to fiqure out whats crashing the game your going to have to turn on one mod at a time. Now this wouldnt be too bad if it wasnt for the fact that unsubscribing from the mod doesnt remove it from the game. it still shows up on extension which still holds the mods information. So you physically go into the files and delete that specific mod which doesnt help that some mods dont provide the files name.
Mostly impossible

Would not recommend for anyone not already familiar with the frustrating jankiness of the X series. The game can become playable with heavy reliance on external guides and tools but will always feel hostile to the player expierience. Abyssmal UI, obtuse systems and a shallow narrative make sure that any enjoyment found here is reliant entirely on the player being content play in the sandbox and finding their own fun. There's no living world here, no real factions or narratives. There's storylines that are cumbersome to play and matter little. Empire building has no point in a universe inhabited by ants moved only by basic imulse reaction. The game may trick you for a while, dazzling by how much stuff there's in here, but eventually you'll see that none of it matters, its just stuff, tons of stuff haphazardly crammed into a box without ever really becoming an actualy, cohesive game.
