WRC 5 FIA World Rally Championship

WRC5 is an okay game and a good one for 2$ I paid but there are some weird problems. It’s rare to see a game so different in ups and downs from previous one since it’s usually a better game or a worse one but here it’s in the middle. Driving is better and the game set difficulty of driving to pro basically turning off all assists and game difficulty to hard but I changed hard to medium really quick. Hard gives you one restart and one rewind but medium 4 restarts and 5 rewinds so that’s why. Rewinds are a downgrade because in WRC4 you did the thing “rewind the game” where you wanted to but here it just teleports back to the 1 of 5 checkpoints. Physics where added or more polished they are doing something but at times it’s really wonky. Content is chopped and added in 4th entry you had Greece but in 5th there is no Greece track however they added a Polish one. Tracks itself are nice for the most part I really like the Polish Australia and French one but I hate Mexico one cause when you try to skip some part of the road instead of getting a penalty your car gets reset and pushed a bit back REALLY OFTEN. Your Co-driver is having a stroke he sometimes says million things ahead and other times one thing you need to know really late. Teams are an upgrade picking one lets you see what ups and downs it has with what races are going to be for this certain team with a car that you will be driving. Fixing your car in the race is also a thumb up much more detail from WRC4 and overall a plus. Also there is even less cars than 4th one?! You will be driving 3 cars in whole campaign it’s a really small choice pick. So that’s the game overall a 5.5/10 get it on sale if you like rally racing if not pass on it and you won’t miss a thing.
