About
It is 1926, ten years after an immense “occult event” halted the Great War and transformed the world overnight. The dead walk, spirits roam, and a gifted few can even cast spells.
9-year-old Clover awakens alone in a decaying mansion just miles from the epicenter of the occult event, and soon discovers that she is a ghost.
Her only companion is a strange and powerful doll constructed from wood, metal, and human remains.

In this Horror Action RPG from the creator of Withering Rooms, join Clover and her doll guardian as they explore the mysterious town of Penwyll and the sprawling graveyards that surround it, seeking a way to bring her back to life.

Craft weapons and machines to slot into the doll’s missing right arm like the Enchanted Candelabrum, Chain Rock, Machinegun, or Flamethrower
Expand the world map by defeating massive perimeter guardians

Return to any area at night to encounter new, horrifying creatures and secrets

This game, like its predecessor, is a ⋆。°✩ 𝕧𝕚𝕓𝕖 𝄞 ✩°。⋆ You won't find anything else like it out on Steam story-wise and it gets a recommendation purely for that. The visuals of this game hit this really nice sweet spot of classic horror games that show off the horror but leave the hyper-realistic gore to your imagination. The gameplay is clunky (early-access) for a souls-like and there are some incredibly OP things (rocket launchers, spell that negates ALL damage), but that's a good offset for the clunky enemies who can push you into a corner and run a train on you while you get to sit and watch. The OST is 𝓹𝓱𝓮𝓷𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓪𝓵, it really goes well with the entire story. The sound design is good in many aspects, but the one place I find it lacking is in combat and that's more due to visuals. Sometimes enemies stagger on heavy hit, sometimes they don't, but you always hear heavy hit noise. In the environment the sounds you hear are really spooky and add overall to the entire story.
Amazing in every possible way, definitely my type of experience. It resonated with me a lot. It made me feel very safe in a world that is in shambles. I really like the aesthetics and attention to lots of small details that just make everything so much more meaningful. I hope more people get to play this and feel the things I did. I honestly feel too captivated to explain how I felt about it but I will try. THE LORE goes hard, I like both the aesthetics and the overall vibes until now. It is so difficult to make anyone care about lore, and I feel like being dropped into it where i get to be curious about everything just made me literally feel like I am in this game's realm. The soundrack is crazy good I think and it feels so refreshing to finally play a game that the gamedev put all their heart into. I feel that nowadays people make everything for the popular masses and everything becomes the same slop, and I am so deligthed to finally find something so well done and carries itself so well. I felt incredible amounts of CARE which is a word we are starting to forget. So when I say thank you, its not out of necessity, but I truly mean, thank you for this game. I feel every need to be respectful for this true art! I think this game feels like its own unique category and feel but if I were to describe it so far, I can talk about a few things it reminds me of. I think its reminding me a teeny bit of Little Nightmares series, with Dark Souls type of combat and I feel a lot of Tim Burton energy which I already do like but this game is on another level I think. There have been quite a few parts where I went wow and I really did get scared a couple times which I am a hard to scare person. Im gonna be completely honest, I think this game is way better than any of these games I counted- my personal biased opinion- and I think that it deserves way more recognition and people have to play this. It has this ethereal and puppet like vibes everything feels like its miniature and messed up in a very logical way when you get whats goin on. I like it a lot. Reminds me a bit of "Mad God" the stop motion film that is sort of forgotten now, if the dev is reading this you would have a blast watching that, I really like how you were able to contain a feel into a shell and put it as a game. A game with a real soul. I thank the dev a ton and I will keep playing this masterpiece because I absolutely love it so far, and I honest think even this small amount of time I played, it has been heart moving. How can I feel nostalgia for a game I never played? I cant stop thinking about this and it feels so interesting. I am a gamedev too and I try to make things that are fun, which is why I know how much effort and your own soul you need to pour into something like this to make it move a stranger's heart. This game is radiating a ton of emotions, and I really wish to make a game that makes people feel this way that I did, and maybe thats why I am so immersed by it all. There is something about this game that I really am captivated by and cant put to words, it has "care" and is fun and everything else. Definitely worth all the shots especially if you are curious enough to read this recommendation. Wish I could give all the likes from all the other games I own to this one lmao Sincerely, a new fan of Withering Realms

취향이 맞는다면 정말 재미있는 게임
Absolutely fantastic! Withering rooms was great, but this builds on that. Faster, more customization, more build freedom, with that same amazing atmosphere. And for an EA game, being complete already aside from tweaks, bugs, and extra, that's so great to see. Yes, there's a few rough edges, but that doesn't take away from it. I'm just having so much fun with it already, was def worth the wait. A highlight in anyone's gaming list this year. Hats off to Moonless, you killed it yet again.
I played the Demo first for 2 hours, there was just that much to see and learn! So thank you for the Demo, the game only got better after that too, very happy with it so far. I am reporting bugs and oversights as I playthrough, and I find that very easy to do. As for some more general feedback, please consider: 1) Focusing on making multiple enemy encounters more fair; those are the worst difficulty spikes, and it's not like you can lure them one at a time or stagger them out from each other so that they are not always attacking at the same time, at least not when they are the same enemy type. And worst of all when you go into a new room (for the first time) and they are all already on top of you. I think the easiest fix for that is to have damage immunity on entering a new room for a few seconds, which is removed if you move or attack. 2) Speed up running when there are no enemies around, and provide an infinite use item to return to last resting spot from the start (this one I'd prefer if it can be used any time, just give it a long animation). Currently, there is no way to travel back to a safe spot or fast travel out of an area you already cleared, unless you are lucky to have low enough HP and there's an explosive barrel you can blow yourself up with (and that would cost half your Ichor on Strict diff). And it's not like new enemies can spontaneously spawn to ambush you anyway. 3) Lastly, obviously if the game is successful enough, and it doesn't take away from the next sequel too much, I would love to see (or hear) full voice over for all dialogues. Currently, the story is great, but the dialogues are not voiced. Only some bosses have a couple of voiced lines.
Jerma brought me here 10/10
So far its awesome! I love the change in magic use compared to withering rooms, makes magic use and builds much more accessible and viable. I'am currently running an almost full magic build and its great. Atmosphere, music, sound effects and vibes are top notch and still creepy and weird as hell like withering rooms. I am a sucker for the occult vibe and it does not disappoint so far. I was a bit on the fence about the change to 3d but it works well, apart from some minor jank with the character getting snagged here and there but overall I like it. For early access it feels quite good and I am once again blown away by the content and creativity moonless provides. I have some issues with it but they are minor and personal preference type of gripes. Ultimately I highly recommend anyone to pick this up and play, I find it hard to put down and I am looking forward to where the game leads with all the secrets and weird freaky stuff to encounter. The game is well worth it even in early accesss specially if your a fan of the previous game or have any interest in the occult, high strangeness and horror action games.
c'est je pense le meilleur jeu auquel j'ai pu jouer apres withering room ! le Dev est un génie, l'histoire invroyable, pleins de possibilité de build different, et le GROS point fort les Musique !! 10/10
Pretty good so far. Magic feels kinda gimped at the start but its manageable. It certainly more terrifying than the first game so far as well.
