Pilfer from pirates, conspire with cardinals and perform miracles with an incompetent magician. The Procession to Calvary is a Pythonesque adventure game made from Renaissance paintings, and a spiritual successor to the critically acclaimed Four Last Things.

About
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for [just one more murder…] -Ecclesiastes 3:8

Huzzah! The holy war is over! Your oppressors have been vanquished, the churches of the Old God lay in ruin and thousands of innocent people have been murdered! But it's not all good news; the tyrant Heavenly Peter has escaped your clutches, and you have been tasked with the mission of finding him...
Your journey will take you through a richly detailed landscape built from hundreds of different Renaissance paintings. You will steal a ship, feed a donkey, compete in a talent contest, assist an inept street magician, sing, dance, play the (magic?) flute, poke a man's face, hunt for treasure and have a chat with Our Lord God Almighty... But will you find Heavenly Peter? And if you do, how will you take your revenge!?

Pointing and Clicking – A traditional point and click interface, with a 'verb coin' interaction menu and a simple inventory from which you can drag and drop your preciously hoarded items.
Renaissance Artwork – Paintings by Rembrandt, Botticelli, Michelangelo and many more are brought together into one consistent world, in a way that is also as sympathetic as possible to the original works.
Classical Music – a soundtrack selected to fit with the style of the artwork. Music from classical composers such as Vivaldi, Bach and George Frideric Handel will accompany you on your journey.
Standalone Story – The Procession to Calvary is set in the same world as Four Last Things, but its story can be played independently.
Optional Murder – You will be equipped with a sword. This will become useful in a number of different situations, but you will be strongly discouraged from using it on people. Ignoring this advice – and murdering anyone who stands in your way – will serve as a useful method of skipping any puzzles you don't like. But be warned; your actions might come back to haunt you...
Nonsense – A style of humour reminiscent of the surreal, anarchic comedy of Monty Python. Lofty subject matter is treated with refreshing flippancy. Gags about butts are taken very seriously. But rest assured, while some of the jokes may be ridiculous, the puzzles make perfect sense! (or at least adhere to a consistent internal logic)
Moments of Surprising Profundity – Actually, no... Don't read too much into it.

). ㅤ♡ ENG ㅤThis is game #2 in the series of this strange story. This time, it tells the story of the immortal John, who behaved like a true sinner in the first game. Pros and reasons to buy and play it: - graphics like art. The world is art. Emotions, movements like dolls. - Cringe-inducing plots and vulgarity in the paintings (the execution of Jesus alone is worth it). - Motivational music makes it easier for you to kill everyone left and right. - Definitely buy and play it if you're a fan of the paintings of Bosch and Bruegel. The creators of the game were inspired by their work, and for good reason. All this cardboard aesthetic only adds to the picturesqueness of the scenes. - The main character in this story is a warrior woman with beautiful hair named Bellona, who wants to cut everyone. In principle, you can satisfy her in this way in one of your playthroughs. A game for a couple of hours, play through, laugh, cringe, cry and delete satisfied from the saturation of beautiful shots of naked butts (
MEN'S
) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3750214634

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Piss off! Dang!
Casual playthrough ~4 hours Minor spoilers in this review! @MatureContent
Much like the first game, this is a fun little point and click adventure taking you through a world built up of paintings from the Renaissance. You this time play as a bloodthirsty soldier who is dissatisfied with the end of a holy war. The story continues off from where the story from the first game "Four Last Things" ended. The first game's main character John, or Immortal John as he is now known as, is the new leader of the people and sort of asks you to go kill the old leader, Heavenly Peter, or that is at least how our new main character interprets it. Immortal John is actually a pacifist, but whatever. Most of this story consists of you trying to complete a scavenger hunt for items to bribe the church men with who are blocking your way into Heavenly Peter's Basilica. Throughout this hunt you will meet many strange people and bear witness to many unholy events and there is in total three different endings. This game is quite a lot longer than the first game and it is quite a lot harder to piece together how to progress in the story. I must be honest, I used a guide throughout most of it, it was just a little too complicated for me. The writing and humor in this sequel is just as good if not even better than in the prequel and I therefore highly recommend actually reading through it. I got it on sale for like 3 bucks or something, which is a good price in my opinion, so I highly recommend it on sale. ————————————————————————————— Help me out by following my Curator, I’d really appreciate it!!
The negatives first, there's only one point and it's very humor subjective: - The humor can be pretty vulgar and edgy at times, and there are occasional gory moments that might not be for everyone. The meh: - The game doesn't always communicate objectives clearly. Most puzzles and progression points make sense, but there were one two moments where I wandered around aimlessly trying to figure out what the game wanted from me. The positives: - The Procession to Calvary fully embraces being ridiculous, and that's a huge part of its charm. It's a very unserious game that clearly knows exactly what it wants to be. - The visual presentation is incredibly unique. The use of classical artwork for the game's graphics gives it an identity. - The soundtrack is excellent. The musical pieces fit the scenes surprisingly well and add a lot to the overall atmosphere. - Puzzle solutions are usually logical enough that progression feels satisfying once you figure things out. - The short runtime works in the game's favor. It delivers its jokes and ideas without overstaying its welcome. It could be because I played multiple long games lately, but a short game really helps its favor here for me. As a whole, I very much enjoyed my time with The Procession to Calvary. It's a small, weird, and genuinely funny (but of course, niche humor) adventure game with one of the most distinctive art styles. If you're into Monty Python-style humor, point-and-click adventures, and games that aren't afraid to be completely ridiculous, it's well worth a look.
The protagonist is a polite and kind little girl who absolutely adores music and small critters. Would stone the hell out of her jailors at the execution. 8/10
I finished The Procession to Calvary in about 3 hours on Game Pass before getting the game on Steam, I really enjoyed the game and it made me laugh a few times, well if you like two things: point-and-click games and British humor in the style of Monty Python, because that's all the game is. Oh, if you like classic art you should also like this game, because the characters and scenarios are all works of art or based on them (from what I understand), the biggest difficulty in the game is finishing without killing anyone, since the protagonist has a tremendous urge to solve everything with death lol
Fun little point and click adventure. If you enjoy the humor of Monty Python and the Holy Grail this will definitely hit for you.
Definitely a unique art style with a banging soundtrack and on top of that plenty of laughs. It’s worth every penny.
Pros: - You will not see another game like this. If you know anything about this game it would be its cool artstyle - Love the gimmicks of just killing your way through puzzles even if it gives you a bad ending - Made me chuckle Cons: - This game is SHORT short. I 100%'d it in 2 hours 40 mins. - Falls into that "XD we're in a video game" -esque humour that I personally despise
