Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 46.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Witchfire is a single-player RPG shooter from the creative minds behind Painkiller and Bulletstorm. Embark on perilous expeditions, vanquishing foes to enhance your powers and arsenal. Scavenge valuable resources and retreat to your sanctuary, or push your luck by confronting Familiars— the powerful guardians of the witch.

Skill and knowledge are essential for success against the Witch of the Black Sea and her witchfire-fueled army. If you die, return to the battlefield for a one-time chance to reclaim what you lost, or attack again with a new plan.

Explore vast, immersive biomes and choose your battleground to confront the witch's forces. Each completed encounter strengthens you and your arsenal through the roguelite system called Arcana. There are countless ways to build your preyer and dominate the witch.

Only the most wicked sinners are transformed into preyers, undead assassins sustained by witchfire flowing through their veins. In the base of operations known as the Hermitory, you can choose from a wide selection of distinctive weapons, spells, and artifacts to build your own preyer.

On each expedition, you can extract your looted items or, if you feel confident, confront the witch’s Familiar to unlock new areas and powerful items and upgrades.

Piece together a story from the past to save the future. Investigate ships crashing on the verge of the witch’s land and locate the artifact that can tip the scales in the ongoing war between the Church and the witches.

During the Early Access period, Witchfire will undergo changes, including new areas, enemies, weapons, and tools of destruction. Help us shape the game to reach its full potential!

+10hrs in, I can confidently say this game has huge potential, yet some balancing issue regarding odd difficulty spikes, and grind. First and foremost the art and visual work achieved here are amazing. The maps have unique tones, the atmosphere is heavy and gritty between arcanic fumes, ashes and dirt, the wind's terrific howling and the somehow disturbing sun. Enemies design is pettrifying good, and environnements look grounded and threatening, yet are a beautiful sight. The immersion is perfected by the great soundesign, which also provides practical and satisfying feedbacks. Overall, the production of Witchfire is haunting, in the best way. Even optimization is on point, without any bug encountered on my end, and a rock solid 80/+100 fps. Now gunplay is nice too : the arsenal is pretty varied, the animations are cool and the guns kickback is nasty and gorgeous. The special abilities of weapons are well implemented in this build-crafting game. The spellcasting accompanying the arsenal is no less good, with fabulous FXs and chain effects. This is FPS entertainment as it should always be. And if you top that quality with the ability to customize your playstyle, you can only appreciate that passion. There's a flow of action in this shooter that is nothing you see often. It is super dynamic and requires map awareness, strategy and of course an unwavering focus. As for the (meta)progression system, let's say there's a ton of things to unlock (and upgrade), for finetuning and survivability purposes. You can loot and equip items in specific slots, in order to combo the desired effects, and hopefully forget about being glass canon. ===================================== Now I wish the experience would stand by that. But truth be told, the game has a glaring issue. Discovering a map for the first two times is a delight that reminded me of Elden Ring. But having to farm them somehow breaks the mystic of it. Indeed the game sadly hosts the modern trope of endless ressources collecting. And it doesn't deliver as well as expected. I don't think a video game is better if I sink 50-100hrs in it. But I believe it can become a disastrous experience if you design it like a slog. In short words : when you hit a difficulty wall (as it's the case for me in Velmorne map), you have no other choice but to farm XP from previous maps, which is a chore and a bummer really. Aside from that, I understood that when you increase difficulty (there's a thing calle "Gnosis" that you have to study in order to explore maps deeper), you can't roll back to the previous one apparently. So when you're reaching your limit, you need to farm and improve/level up your character and stuff, but you also have to pray that it makes a real difference. Otherwise your choices were a big waste of time. ===================================== I give Witchfire the benefit of the doubt, because it's a gem of craft on so many levels, it'd be a shame to not give it a chance. So I hope developers will reach balance eventually and offer a smoother progression curve.

Dobry roguelike strzelany, a takich mało. Bawie się świetnie i wiem że spędze tu mase czasu
作为射击游戏手感很好 作为搜打撤like的游戏,没什么让人惊喜的搜集内容,开新地图也不会有什么期待
感觉还不错
This feels great to play! Games like Doom 2016, Doom Ethernal, or Roboquest did not really hook me, but this drew me right in. The Sense of mystery and threat, the risk taking and leveling up, the very unique weapons, which have gameplay differences instead of stats. This is Early Access done right: More content gets added, but everything playable was bug free for me. I can definitely feel the passion and expertise, this game is crafted with. Also, over time, different playstyles are more supported, like careful explorer, Assassin, brute, etc. Also the performance is great, while looking very good. On my 11 year old CPU (I5 6600K), with a4060TI, I can play at 165FPS with DLSS and Framegen, or around 120FPS without FG. Highly recommendend.
This is a really fun game that runs great with great visuals and it comes with 32:9 support out of the box.
Amazing game, fall in love with this game so fast one of the most creative and cool extraction shooters ive ever played, really love the theme of the game and all the art. Great job devs
