It's boring. hard to find a crew. New maps are confuse. I do not recommend
Some REALLY questionable decisions as of recently, including the nerf to dash canceling which was the only thing keeping greatsword playable pre 100% attack speed. Absolutely outrageous. Now dash canceling can cancel your final combo attack. AWFUL change. Idk who would even approve that ngl. I actually would refund if I had the option to because this isn't anywhere near what I signed up for as it feels x10 worse in comparison to what I played for over a year JUST because of that change in dash canceling.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The map update killed the game, it's exhausting, laggy, and a bunch of surface level "decisions" which only serve to annoy the player and pad out the runtime of a game that already had a tendency to overstay its welcome. It was probably a 7.5 before the change when the maps were linear, passable, carried by the weapon variety and multiplayer hades-like gameplay. AFTER the map change? Genuinely a 4/10 the idea of playing it sounds like an exercise in patience to bother clearing a map and doubling back, waiting for your friends to be allowed to pick up any drops, like... why am I bothering to do all this?
I had mixed feelings towards this game when it came out, but with the latest updates they've really nailed down the gameplay loop. I love how they reworked the maps from small and linear to open with a lot of secrets. I really enjoy the progression by going out hunting for resources to unlock different weapons and trinkets. I've been losing interest in the roguelike genre as of late, but the current state of Windblown has reminded me why I love this genre of games. The satisfaction of getting ever so slightly closer to the end while your skills improve, is the fundamentals of a great rogue-like, and I think they have nailed this in Windblown. This is one of those rare cases where you can feel and se the changes from an early access game.
Por está em acesso antecipado o game ta entregando muito bem, um dos melhores jogos de rogue like que ja joguei, muito bom!
Last update is more like "Break the Game", not a "Break the Path". Freezes unbearable. Game not playable rn.
If you're a hardline controller user like me, wait until they fix controller issues. There's a problem with overlapping accept/cancel requests like when picking up new items to replace current ones. I didn't get to play much because of this, but it seems like a really fun game! Loved Dead Cells. Odd that this came up. I know I can use a keyboard, but for it to work at nearly correct capacity is a flag for me so I shall wait to play more until it's patched. Using Nintendo Switch Pro controller that works great for other games. Recommending it because it looks and feels good otherwise and the company has always impressed me with Dead Cells. Please address this controller issue

Fun game to keep coming back to. I do hope that they maybe tighten up some of the performance for Steam Deck more (they've already done quite a bit which is great! EA Launch and current performance is already much better!). The game has a lot of visual clutter that sometimes those FPS drops can hurt in a boss fight. Overall it's a great next step after Dead Cells. I don't particularly love Roguelikes/lites that rely on 'number and keyword go up'. Hades I think struck a good balance and Dead Cells at times really felt like it pushed the limit of how much I enjoyed 'number go up' types of approaches. I think there's a nice balance here. You'll see not too many numbers thrown at you, but keywords generally are fairly clear to follow and you see keywords come into play along with modifiers. I just think if I'm getting better or more unique equipment, I want to feel the difference, if that makes sense. Windblown strikes a really nice balance there. I also feel I can lean into different builds but the game definitely tries to propose some options to you. It doesn't feel truly random, but you feel a small semblance of control of a run to any extent. Overall I think it's one to watch and is a really excellent follow-up to Dead Cells.
