Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Wildgate is a PvPvE multiplayer shooter with 3 different modes. In Artifact Brawl, be the first to snatch the Artifact and blast through the Wildgate, or destroy the ships of every rival crew to be crowned the winner. Fleet Battle pits two massive teams of up to 12 players each against one another in relentless, action-packed combat. For a more relaxed looting expedition, salvage treasure and escape with the spoils before getting blown up in Treasure Hunt.
Across all modes your ship is your home and lifeline for you and your prospector crew. Keep it topped up with ice, fuel and ammo so you're ready for anyone or anything the Reach throws at you.

Blast your enemies with hi-tech cannons and gadgets, lure them into deadly traps, or even mess with their ship... as long as they don't sabotage yours first. When your perfect plan goes out the airlock, there's only one option... wing it!

Stay one step ahead as you and your crew navigate the Reach — a vast, ever-changing procedurally-generated map that changes with every game.

Choose from a variety of daring prospectors, each with their own abilities and tools. Whether you want to be a brave pilot holding down the ship or a clever trickster boarding enemy ships, there's no wrong way to commit space crimes!

The Reach is a dangerous, unpredictable place, filled with deadly hazards and treasure beyond your wildest dreams. Navigate through cosmic storms, battle space creatures, and plunder ancient alien ruins for lost caches of loot. Just make sure you beat the other prospectors to the punch, or you'll fly away empty-handed!

I sadly say I can't recommend the game. It was fun in the playtesting then just the way that the game is approached just doesn't work. Characters and ships that are game changing are locked behind a list of passes. Boarding with how it's done currently makes any ship combat pointless. If you played sea of thieves think about the boarding meta there just ten times worse as it's pretty hard to miss boarding a ship here. Then if you are unlucky to die to the boarders you will be spawn camped to death while your ship explodes. Then the loot shooter/extraction game play is hollow at best. Many of the weapons are not that useful on the characters and on the ships. I just wanted to see more from the game. I refunded it as I just can't have faith that it will get better.
At its core, it's a really good game. It has depth and a number of different possible playstyles, and the devs are constantly making changes to address player concerns. I can understand that new players are reluctant to pay for a game with such a low playercount, but luckily the game has a pretty extensive free trial version that will let you see what the game has to offer. If you're on the fence, give that a try. It converted me into a paying customer, and given the amount of time I've put into the game I think it's fair to say that I got my money's worth.

Feel like it would have been a decent game to play if there was people playing. The servers are dead. The game is dead.
Got in a game on the free weekend. Took 10 minutes to find one, got put in with 1 player. When that player noticed we were vs teams of 4 they quit within minutes. Interesting but badly monetised. It's got a shop despite asking for 40 up front. It's also got no players so why would I pay 20 on a sale...
Super unique and extremely polished game. An absolute joy to play with friends. It's really the ideal space pirate game that I've always wanted... and yet it's completely dead.
As of now I cannot recommend this game for people who play with controller as there are no options to remap the buttons. Hopefully the option will be added later.
This game is kinda like battle royal, with hero shooters, but you also have a ship you need to maintain. It takes like 6+ minutes to find a match in this game, there's like no one playing the game, and after playing 2 games i can see why, i wouldnt want to play this even if it was free, the gameplay just felt so slow and boring, the ship moves slow, you have to find these stations or rocks to collect materials thats also very slow, its a little fun when you run into other players to battle with but nothing else is fun. I do not recommend.
GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. FAILED GAME.
It's a visually appealing and well put together game that was worth what I paid for it. I like the ships and I like the mechanics and gunplay. I only have played PVE and it's very fun to play with my partner. The enemies can get a little samey, but if I was playing PVPVE I'd probably have a more exciting and difficult time. I wouldn't want to do that without a full party because this game is so much more fun with other people.
What this game desperately needs: -An adventure-mode similar to Sea-of-Thieves -Get rid of all weapon/ship etc. restrictions, they need to ALL be available from the get-go immediately -Significantly more skins, as skins etc. should be the main drive to progress -It MUST go F2P -The Character-specific abilities are a no-go because they force you to use characters you don't actually want -Make all current Character-specific abilities (e.g. Ventures no-need for O²) simple selectable abilities Do all of this; Re-invest heavily into marketing; Then Re-release the game; Or go broke.
