Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Wildgate is a PvPvE multiplayer shooter with 3 different modes. In Artifact Brawl, be the first to snatch the Artifact and blast through the Wildgate, or destroy the ships of every rival crew to be crowned the winner. Fleet Battle pits two massive teams of up to 12 players each against one another in relentless, action-packed combat. For a more relaxed looting expedition, salvage treasure and escape with the spoils before getting blown up in Treasure Hunt.
Across all modes your ship is your home and lifeline for you and your prospector crew. Keep it topped up with ice, fuel and ammo so you're ready for anyone or anything the Reach throws at you.

Blast your enemies with hi-tech cannons and gadgets, lure them into deadly traps, or even mess with their ship... as long as they don't sabotage yours first. When your perfect plan goes out the airlock, there's only one option... wing it!

Stay one step ahead as you and your crew navigate the Reach — a vast, ever-changing procedurally-generated map that changes with every game.

Choose from a variety of daring prospectors, each with their own abilities and tools. Whether you want to be a brave pilot holding down the ship or a clever trickster boarding enemy ships, there's no wrong way to commit space crimes!

The Reach is a dangerous, unpredictable place, filled with deadly hazards and treasure beyond your wildest dreams. Navigate through cosmic storms, battle space creatures, and plunder ancient alien ruins for lost caches of loot. Just make sure you beat the other prospectors to the punch, or you'll fly away empty-handed!

there's nobody here, 10min queue for my first match it's almost certainly going to go free to play eventually, so just save your money until then.
The whole piloting your ship, and fighting in first person, going back and forth between your ship, space stations, and enemy ships, is a very interesting idea. In between the combat and looting moments too, you're having to repair your ship, take control of the turrets, upgrade them with loot that you find. Wildgate does some really unique things with co-op, and even single player (still online only) gameplay. But it all just doesn't feel that engaging either. Collecting loot, and piloting your ship is tedious and slow. I think what would have been better for Wildgate, is that you pilot your ship in 3rd person, dock at a station, and then exit your ship into first person for your character; you get a limited number of inventory slots to collect as much loot as you can, take it back to your ship, and then pilot out of there to the next station, or wildgate to leave the area with your loot. If you die or your ship is destroyed, then you lose all of your loot, but if you survive then you can use it to further upgrade your ship, weapons, and armor so you can take on more challenging content. The main point of my suggestions is to make the game faster paced, and less tedious, less to focus on. I think Wildgate needs a new way to keep the co-op crew mechanics in place, while still making it feel faster and more engaging then it currently is. There is also the very serious issue of player numbers; this game launched dead on arrival, and Moonshot Games has been unable to draw people in, even with the free to play weekend currently ongoing. Wildgate is an online only game as well, with a live service model; so it lives or dies on having a large number of players, and a portion of those players spending a significant amount of money on the cash shop and battle passes to keep Wildgate alive. That is clearly not happening. Wildgate in its current state runs a high risk of shutting down, and you'll never be able to play it ever again if that happens. So take that into consideration if you choose to buy it.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, everyone in the reviews complaining about not enough people playing, but I was able to get into a game pretty quickly (oh no, you had to wait 3 WHOLE minutes for a queue to pop? Get over it.) Yet no one is mentioning how awfully toxic the people that ARE playing are? First game I get into after the tutorials was a bunch of sweats yelling at each other (and me obviously) for not doing something right, then getting spawn camped by another ship until we got blown up. Maybe there's a reason not many people are playing this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing, and it's not because it's not being advertised that much.
beta was the best but a week is all it took for me to get bored of the content.
I really adore this game! It deserves a lot more love and attention than it currently has ~ The devs just recently added a lot of content to the map and gave one of the gamemodes a nice QoL. Highly enjoyable even in single player <3
Really enjoyable game, amazing even, but in the current state, cant recommend. This is probably one of the better team fps's I played. Great flow from steering your ship and relaxing, to picking off enemies in the POI zones, to going ship guns blazing at enemy player ships, all in one match. Mix that with some decent gunplay, and a very excellent approach to characters (lack of active abilites in favor of a spread of passives, letting the heroes be specialized in one task, but also not suck at other tasks is a good way to do it). You can def tell the designers know their stuff. The plenty of gamemodes help drive the variety too: Treasure Hunt is nice and low intensity PvPvE, Fleet Battle lets the ship combat shine, and Artifact Brawl can be the most hype thing at times, when the entire map is fighting for the Artifact. However, this is a multiplayer centric game, nearly devoid of singleplayer features (you can go alone, but it kinda sucks). It costs 30 dollars. Add onto that the current player count, 71 at the time of writing, and I do sadly declare it; At this price point, right now, Wildgate is simply not worth it. I wanna like this game, I do like it, free weekend was great. Either the pricing should be dropped, or the game should go free altogether. There's a MTX shop in there anyway. And this free trial ain't it. Hopefully one day Wildgate manages to shine and get the player counts it deserves. REVIEW EDITED TO ADD ADDITIONAL GAMEMODE INFO
completely dead game, maybe if they make it f2p it'll have some players
The game in of itself is pretty good, there are just some factors that stop me from fully recommending it. 1. The price. This game is not worth 30 bucks. Lower the price and you might find the people you want to reach. 2. The game lacks players which obviously isn't good for a pvp game. 3. If you play solo you won't have a good time. This game is great with friends, but playing alone is dreadful. I still like the game, it's honestly the most fun i had with gaming in recent times.
Was a fun game, but it kind of died off. No one is playing it anymore.
