Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 16 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

This game feels like the Star Fox equivalent to Pokemon vs Palworld. I expected that, but I was surprised at HOW close they were inspired. LIke, even character conversations and boss design are heavily inspired. This doesn't bother me at all, I'm an OG fan and I like this too so far. It is shorter in length compared to SF64, both in terms of the overworld map as well as each level's length. If you skip the dialogue scenes you can do a level in just 3-5 min. I actually prefer that, it makes me actually attempt a second run after I died on the last level (or what I assume is the last level according to the initial overworld map). In SF64 I'd probably be done after investing one run. Good: Shorter but faster paced Missions, Ability to save and quit between levels, graphics, mostly smooth flight controls Bad(ish): Fairly traditional unforgiving difficulty- once you lose your lives the run is over. I'm an N64 era gamer so I respect that, but I also recognize the value of having it setup more convenient. Maybe they could make that into a difficulty option or something. No easy way to remap button controls in game. Not a lot of health in each level, if there are extra lives they are hidden. Also a few times I felt the range of motion on screen was limited, like you could not fly as high along the top of the screen as I would have liked. I had 1 glitch with an ice level boss spawning kind of halfway off the bottom of the screen, but it did come back. Sometimes your team members take surprising damage despite you helping them or they not being attacked. Just like SF64, they'll have to sit out the next level. A cool mechanic, but I feel like I lost a couple of teammates for no reason a few times. I hope there is mission select after you beat the game. I guess I better get good and find out. For $15 as a debut MSRP sticker price, I'm way more than satisfied even after 2 hrs.

You know what you're getting into here. The game isn't shy about it's origins. In fact, the development team includes former employees from Argonaut, the developers behind the original low poly classic. Seems like Nintendo could never make a good Star Fox game again. I mean... there was a good one ten years ago, but people were too busy complaining about motion controls to notice. (Yeah I said it!) Wild Blue Skies here recaptures the feel of Star Fox, maybe a little too closely at times. The opening stage sees you switch to all range mode for the boss, the third stage on the easy route has you racing to defeat a rival squad before a bomb goes off, and there are two variants of the final stage. No prizes for guessing the differences between them. That said, Wild Blue Skies isn't entirely the same. The flight physics are different with the brake allowing you to drift in all range mode, and giving in to the pull of gravity if you use it too long, Remember, you're not in space this time. And when you *ahem* DO A BARREL ROLL! You actually strafe to the side in the direction you double tapped. The charge shot also has its own separate button, it's a confusing change, until you check the settings and change the continuous fire to holding down the button. That should really be the default. The game's also much harder, getting the hard route on the first stage requires flying through some tightly packed waterfalls, your teammates also don't call for help in all range stages so you HAVE to keep an eye on them if you want the full squad bonus and checkpoints don't restore health. The levels however are bright and colourful, one moment you'll be racing up a waterfall in a twilit canyon, the next you'll be shooting through a crystal cave that pushes your ability to manoeuvre to the test, and the dialogue has the campy charm of an 80s-90s cartoon, bad puns and all. Don't let the hate going around the forums put you off, I seriously don't know what's going on with those people. Maybe they set their standards for a £15 game too high? Maybe they forgot you're supposed to get good with practice? (Wouldn't be the first time.) But a lot of the things they complain about, like the occasional enemy clipping through a wall are minor at worst. The only genuine problem I have, is the lack of adjustable graphics settings. Which is a problem when the framerate drops to 30 FPS on the Steam Deck. Well, I might as well finish off by saying the most important part. This game is everything the new "remake" isn't. It throws in new ideas along with familiar ones, it's reasonably priced for what you get, and it actually remembers its characters are supposed to be cartoon animals. Now here's hoping I won't have to turn off the comments.
I feel that the negative reviews are being a bit too harsh. Yes, it is a Star Fox clone, but comparing this game to the recently released Star Fox remake is unfair as its a 15 dollar game vs a full price triple AAA title. This game has its quirks, and controls a bit less well than Star Fox, but saying its a bad game feels like a stretch. I've completed two runs, having a good time, and plan on playing more.
Art Style and graphics are great. The game is fun to play.
Any map where I fight the Prowlers, my game seems to crash near the final kill of the mission. Other than that, it feels like a perfect reimagining of a childhood favorite of mine I've played so much on Nintendo 64. Definitely worth the full price. Great replayability and all the hidden paths and extended final boss battle for unlocking all of the paths. Great job! Look forward to a possible sequel too. Awesome job!
If you like star fox you will most likely enjoy it. The gameplay is pretty much exactly the same it has on rail and all range stages and comparable length to SF64 I think it's a pretty good deal at 15$
