What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state. As Edith, you’ll explore the colossal Finch house, searching for stories as she explores her family history and tries to figure out why she's the last one in her family left alive.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 13.86/day in the week to Aug 22 → 25/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a beautiful game. The voice acting is mostly great, and the storytelling mechanics are inventive and immersive. But the designers made two difficult choices that ultimately don't work together: to tell a story that resolves nothing, and to tell it in ways that are only loosely coherent. Each of these is dubious at best, but done well could produce something unusual and interesting. Combining them was a mistake that leaves you both unsatisfied and emotionally untouched at the end, wondering what you just did with the last two hours. The house was the star of the game, though many of the characters would probably have been likable - if we'd learned anything about them. We didn't. The technical execution was so good that I considered giving it a weak thumbs up, but given how many other reviews rave over the amazing story (I can only wonder what game they played), I thought a thoughtful thumbs down might be helpful to someone. Buy it on sale just to wander the house, maybe. Or don't. I will probably look at the developer's other games, though - with a less surreal narrative, this would have been the incredible experience other people somehow seemed to have with it.
This is a very creative and unique game. However, I think a lot of people let that creativeness distract them from the fact that the story is very unsatisfying and honestly kind of meaningless, in the sense that it's all setup and no follow-through. The stories are told in very inventive ways though. I think it's worth a playthrough from a game design perspective to see the creative storytelling, but if you're looking for an actual satisfying and enjoyable story/mystery, this probably isn't it. Great voice acting though.

Amazing story, every time I play it, it's better and better.
"What remains of Edith Finch" ist ein ziemlich einmaliges Erlebnis!
