What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state. As Edith, you’ll explore the colossal Finch house, searching for stories as she explores her family history and tries to figure out why she's the last one in her family left alive.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 13.86/day in the week to Aug 22 → 25/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Absolutamente recomendado.
It's not too long. There is about 2 hours of story if you don't speed through. It's not a game you can really get stuck in or accidentally do things out of order which I like.
What remains of Edith Finch? I'm actually not quite sure... Just kidding! The setting is your family home, which you return to after your family dies. The structure has sat undisturbed for years, rendering it more of a mausoleum or even museum than a home. You move through the structure and are prompted to interact with objects in a linear fashion (you have no choice as far as I'm concerned). As you interact with the objects, vignettes of your family pop up putting you in control of a specific relative. You don't have many options, you just play through the cutscenes as is seeing the memory through the eyes of the specific relative. Each of these stories are quite horrific, morbid, and depressing in their own unique ways. After each, the main character frequently remarks on how "the family is a little weird;" sort of just shrugging off the intensity of the stories. But in my opinion, the family is extremely dark. Which was jarring to me as I was expecting this to be a "cozy" game. I think that this is the point of the game though, a family may look normal on the outside while the inside is dark and twisted. Especially when the family tree gets darker as you go backwards in time or up the tree to the past. A lot of people can certainly relate to this and generational trauma of it all more broadly. But the intensity and darkness of the vignettes really blindsided me as I progressed through. The game is super quick to play through and the achievements are straightforward. If you do play this game, I would recommend doing so late at night, in the dark, and preferably during a thunderstorm. In all seriousness, if you have not played this game, you should!
My experience with What Remains of Edith Finch was good. The biggest strength of the game is definitely its story. It’s memorable, emotional, and presented in a very creative way. Each family member has their own short story, and I really liked how the game changed its gameplay and presentation depending on who you were playing as. The atmosphere, visuals, music, and voice acting also work really well together and make the story more immersive. There are several moments that genuinely stayed with me even after finishing the game. Overall, What Remains of Edith Finch is a game I'd recommend if you enjoy narrative-focused experiences. The gameplay itself isn't anything special, but the story and the way it's told are what make the game worth playing. It's more of an experience than a traditional game, and that's where it shines.
