I know that it's day one, but the game running on a pc with high resolution simply gets stuck at the beginning when the guy gives you the money (no PDF appears, and the chat also gets stuck). Please resolve this bug
Where to start? I don't make many reviews at all ever, but I just had to for this game Lets go through Pros, Cons, and just some general stuff. ✅Pros: ✅The game is great looks good and runs smooth on my budget rig. ✅ It seems the requirements listed are actually accurate unlike most games these days. ✅The premise and Idea is just great and a good thrill, there's something familiar, relaxing digging through webpages that just makes you drop you guard not matter how much you know something's going to happen at some point. ✅ The price, for what it is fantastic! ✅ very very immersive ✅ The devs very active with updates ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅ ❌Cons (there isn't many): ❌ I've hear there's bugs I've not experienced anything game breaking, just one thing that has caught me a few times is the doors, it just feels like you have to go to close to them to get the open prompt then it pins you. ❌ The sound for the hack compared to killers is a little bit of a gap, don't mind if the hacks loud because its a scare of course but would like the killer sounds to match it. ✅✅General: I have seen something repeatedly mentioned in the negative comments which is bugs for the price, I just want to say you can buy a £60 AAA game these days and it will have more bugs and performance issues on top, for £16 this game is mint and runs great and the devs are dropping updates almost daily which shows there committed at least more then most AAA studios. I've seen the controversy's surrounding harassment yady ya, the more you look into it its someone being mean then someone responds to that and they don't like it then comes down to the size of the fan base not "real" harassment more like youtuber beef but guess what?! It has nothing to do with the game or playing it, there has been bigger games with devs or company's doing worse or terrible things but everyone still plays them. In the end if its your type of game and you like the look of it, you seen some youtuber or streamer play and Like the look of it and want to play do it, it's great if you like these types of games, I suck personally, still haven't beaten dead signal on the hardest difficulty but I'll keep trying just like I did with Elden ring 😂😂

Might come back to this later but for now it's just more frustrating than fun. I feel like most of my time is spent looking for a website that actually works and when I do find one it's either a useless empty website with just a picture or I immediately get hacked, power goes out, or the internet goes out. Then when I go out to fix them I get murdered without warning, the little cheat sheet you can buy to learn about the killers after you doesn't really help you all that much. There's like 1 or 2 in there that actually gives you a run down on what to do and what to look out for. I tried coming back to this multiple times but after awhile of just searching through sites that are always down I start getting really board and end up playing something else. I might try again after some updates.
just don't.
i'll stick to dead signal thank you very much
Easily the best game in the series
I went into this game completely blind, and it's been really fun, immersive and scary. I’ve had a great time streaming it to my friends on screenshare. I'm also an absolute coward when it comes to horror games, so this is helping me get over that, even though I screamed so loud at a Tanner jumpscare that my family thought I died lmao. The only time I genuinely got stuck and had to look up an outside guide was to figure out where the bomb was. If you enjoyed watching playthroughs of Welcome to the Game I & II or FNAF, you should definitely buy this. Playing it yourself is a whole different level; The closest thing I can compare it to is that it feels like FNAF on steroids, Noir are basically Golden Freddy LOL In all seriousness though, I don't really agree with the current "most helpful" negative review.

WIFI: The WIFI disconnecting often is a deliberate gameplay mechanic designed to punish you if you spam the panic button. My WIFI went off every 10 minutes until I figured this out lol.
Sound Cues: Having to turn up your volume to listen for audio cues can be a bit annoying, but it's easily solved if you have a physical volume slider or a keyboard shortcut etc.
Price: The development team is tiny, so I think the price is pretty fair for what you get.

Bugs and Dev Support
I’ve encountered a few bugs, including one game-breaking issue where VirtMesh wouldn't open. However, the developer is incredibly active in the discussion boards. I've even reported another bug myself, the dev replied, and it was patched just a few hours later. Pushing out three or four patches in four days suggests the game probably should have been released in Early Access. But considering how small the team is, bugs are to be expected with an indie launch, and I'm grateful for how fast they are being fixed.
Final Verdict:
Highly recommended. It has some rough edges, but the atmosphere and dev support make it well worth it. These games are really unique and immersive and you won't really find a similar experience elsewhere unless you count my stupid FNAF comparison that I'm sure will make someone angry lol.
Cant even play the game. When I play it and I am on the browser for the sites the screen is just pure white. Whenever I take my cursor to my second monitor and click it only then does the page actually load. However once I bring my cursor back and click into the game I am unable to scroll on the page at all or even click on the many links. The only way I can actually move around the browser is if my cursor is on my second monitor. Even if I do that I hear 0 audio since I am technically not in the game. I was really looking forward to this but at this time I cant even play it.

Really fun and addicting gameplay loop! The game has tension like no other game I've played before, making the jumpscares hit so absurdly hard. The game IS a bit buggy, but the developer is fixing bugs very regularly and is very receptive to player feedback! I haven't beat it yet, since it is extremely challenging, but its definitely fun and I recommend it to any horror fan!
Played WTTG2 years ago and loved it, so I was hyped for this. I still think the core concept is one of the most unique horror experiences out there. Having to micromanage so many things at once while staying alert for threats or issues..it keeps you on edge the entire time. The atmosphere is incredible, the visuals look great, and the additions like the group chat and interaction options with other players add a lot to the experience. That said, I've run into several issues that I don't think make the game more difficult in a good way. My biggest complaint is how often threats interrupt hacks. The hacks themselves are loud enough that you can barely hear Noir say "good boy," so you're left hoping you've waited long enough before moving. On top of that, Cletus can interrupt you for the goods in the middle of a hack, Tucker's music events can start mid hack, and some of these hacks are already long and difficult. It feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to be halfway through one with plenty of time left, only to be forced to nopsled it or fail because something spawned at THE worst possible time. It ends up feeling like setback after setback with very little you can do in response as the player. The recent balancing update also feels like it swung a little too far in the opposite direction. Before the patch there was too much downtime... now, even on normal, it just repeatedly feels like internet outage > power outage > Tanner > Noir > Cletus > ordering drugs for Cletus > Tucker music.. then right back into the same cycle. There are still moments where things calm down, but not often enough to reliably scan the group chat for sellers, buyers, hackers, hitmen, and everything else while also searching for keys and videos. Some of this is probably a skill issue and I will gladly admit that, but surviving the threats usually isn't what's getting me. It's finding enough time to actually progress with everything else. Also since the patch, I realize the amount the chatters pay for website links has been nerfed and that is fine but now you BARELY can find someone looking to buy site links at all, which was super beneficial early game. My other complaint is the audio during thunderstorms, Tucker's audio cue is just WAY too quiet during thunder and rain. I'm using Beyerdynamic headphones with a solid audio setup and I still struggle to hear the cue. I do hear when he leaves if I listen close enough but it shouldn't turn into a guessing game when the sounds can be heard just fine otherwise with clear weather. Overall, I still love the game, its atmosphere, and the gameplay loop. I think it's very fun with a lot of great ideas. I'm just going to wait for some balancing tweaks and bug fixes before I really dive into completing everything.
