Very good game, but its such a shame that you basically cannot play multiplayer mode because nobody plays this game. This game deserves to be revived by some big streamer or a community event
I'm not a Warhammer guy, barely played any of the games as none of them seemed too interesting to me. Played this because a friend got me Space Marine 2 and the story of the second game assumes you know what happened in this game. It's a good length (around 7ish hours), good story, super cool enemy designs. The BIGGEST element of the game is definitely the combat, though! It's SUPER fun and brutal, NEVER feels repetitive or boring. Melee mixed with third person shooting is so satisfying! I did have a couple thing I didn't like. The difficulty seems to ramp up a lot near the end. Like, a massive spike. It turns from power fantasy to cover shooter and makes melee kinda pointless. (And melee is my favorite part of the game :( ) Thankfully, there is A LOT of checkpoints! The other is that, while doing executions, you aren't immune to damage. So, if you don't properly time your executions, you can be stuck in an animation while getting absolutely wailed on by other enemies. All-in-all, great game. Highly recommend!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Despite its age, the game still feels fantastic, honestly even better than Space Marine 2 for the first few hours. The combat is fun, the pace is great, and it really nails the Warhammer feel early on. Unfortunately, around the 4–5 hour mark, the campaign takes a noticeable turn for the worse. The game starts heavily punishing melee play and executions, often resulting in insta-deaths mid-animation. On top of that, you’re constantly bombarded by endless rockets and bomb squigs that keep spawning and rushing you between groups of Orks. What starts as a great action experience slowly turns into something repetitive, chaotic, and frankly frustrating.
This game feels like stepping back into the Xbox 360 era. It gives strong Gears of War vibes with its easy combat, straightforward level design, and no-nonsense action. The graphics have definitely aged, but the gameplay still holds up. You genuinely feel like an unstoppable Space Marine, tearing through endless waves of Orks with a chainsword and bolter, and somehow it never gets old. I played the entire game on the Steam Deck, and it ran surprisingly well. It did crash twice late on (around 6 hours of non-stop gaming), but after the third launch, I didn't have any more issues, and the rest of the playthrough was smooth. The story was actually engaging, and I ended up enjoying the twists and turns that Captain Titus has to go through. I would 100% recommend this game when it hits one of its sales, especially if you want that old Xbox 360 nostalgia.
Okay so this is a hard one... I do genuinely like this game, but I cannot recommend it unless it meets 1 single criteria: You care about the story of Titus. I bought this game while it was on sale, had a good amount of fun in the waves game mode, but primarily played for the story of Titus (having played Space Marine 2 first). The multiplayer is significantly dead, and that's the only thing there really is for you after the campaign. Maybe if you have a few friends also wanting to play an older shooter like this it's worth it, but by yourself, I can only say buy it if you're specifically looking for the story of Titus, as the second game's combat loop and mechanics are 100x cleaner and more engaging. The one thing I can give this game over SM2 however is that the guns feel better in this game. Good game, just unfortunately outdated by it's sequel and with a very inactive multiplayer scene. Try to get it on sale if you can.
ANA KARAKTER ÇOK TAŞŞAKLI BÖYLE ADAMLAR 100 YILDA BİR ÇIKAR MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK GİBİ oyuna nedense çok eski muammelesi yapılmış alakası yok teknoloji harikası olmasa da gayet akıyor
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (Anniversary Edition) feels like stepping back into a different era of action games—in a good way, but also in a very noticeable one. Coming from the second game first, the differences hit immediately. This is a much simpler, more straightforward experience, built around a heavy mix of melee and gunplay with no cover system—just constant forward pressure. The combat still holds up surprisingly well, especially when you’re tearing through waves of Orks with a chainsword, but it’s definitely more repetitive and less varied than modern entries. Still, there’s something satisfying about how direct it is: no fluff, just you pushing forward through chaos. Story-wise, this does a lot of important groundwork, especially if you played the sequel first. Seeing Captain Titus here—his leadership, his decisions, and the early signs of his rise and eventual fall—adds context that makes the larger narrative feel more complete. That said, the storytelling itself is pretty straightforward. It gets the job done, but it doesn’t dive very deep into its characters, and a lot of the emotional weight comes more from the setting than the writing. Still, if you care about the overall story arc, this fills in that gap in a meaningful way. It’s also a shorter experience, sitting around the 8–10 hour mark, but it doesn’t feel like it drags. If anything, the length works in its favor—it delivers a full campaign without overstaying its welcome. Compared to the second game, it’s smaller in scope, less refined, and more repetitive, but still enjoyable on its own terms. It may not hit the same highs, but it’s a solid, focused action game that’s worth playing—especially if you want the full picture of Titus’ story. —The Ember Archives https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45601239/
