Un bon petit FPS dans l'univers de Warhammer 40000 avec un look retro façon Doom. Sans prise de tête, parfait pour se défouler même si certains niveaux sont quand même assez tordus et propose un peu de réflexion.

I know nothing about 40K lore, but I do like boomer shooters. The question is: Is it a good boomer shooter? The following review is based on Hard difficulty: * Press R to reload. Heavy Bolter and Grav-Cannon don't need to reload. * You can turn off the pixelation in the Options -> Retro. * Falling down a pit takes away 20 HP. I assume you die if you're less than 20 HP. * Fatigue will kick in because levels become looooong. One level took 30 minutes to complete. * Melee is kind of useless. You have i-frames when you slice an enemy, but you're also stuck in place. Mashing V or RMB after the first cut will leave you vulnerable. * Your weapons have a strength value. If it is lower than the enemies, they will resist damage and you'll end up using more ammo. * Shotgun is weak and the reload is soooooooo slow. * The further you progress, the longer the levels get. You'll get into an arena battle, like DOOM * Champions are tanky. They sprint toward you. You need to stay away from them because if they do enough damage to you, they'll revive when they die. Their melee attacks hurt. * Toads are dumb. They're tanky, they'll aimbot you, and the first big one you meet is a nightmare. * At the end of Chapter 2, I hope you found and kept that Vortex grenade because after that jumping gauntlet, you'll be starving for health and ammo. * No BFG. Grav-Cannon probably serves as one, but it's meh and eats up ammo like crazy. I NEED A BIG GREEN BALL OF ENERGY! * In the last level of Chapter 3, you run around like a headless chicken and slowly take out of the mobs and boss. You're given endless ammo but with limited health. * You're not given a map, but a navigation companion that points you the way if you push N. It also has no voice acting. * PURGE ALL HERETICS! * FOR THE EMPEROR! Score: 7 out of 10. Recommended. Buy it on sale or in a bundle. The game is alright for a boomer shooter. Playing by whatever rules Warhammer 40K has leaves a lot to be desired. Every level becomes a slog. You may or may not like it within the first 2 hours.
Boomer shooter rozzo e violento al punto giusto. Ritmi serrati, una gamma di nemici ben assortita e armi estremamente soddisfacenti da usare. La durata è forse un po' eccessiva: dopo una certa quantità di ore il gameplay inizia a diventare ripetitivo, ma senza compromettere il divertimento complessivo. Consigliatissimo, soprattutto in sconto, circa 10 ore di puro divertimento.
