Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Jul 23 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is a fast-paced turn-based strategy game set in the grimdark universe of the 41st Millennium. Pick your force, develop your army, field mighty heroes and fight for victory using superior strategy, awesome abilities, and devastating weaponry.
Experience an epic twenty mission single-player campaign that explores the aftermath of the Devasta-tion of Baal. Help Sergeant Carleon and his allies purge the Tyranid infestation on Baal Secundus, and preserve the honour of the noble Blood Angels.
Fight across the surface of Baal on maps of your choosing in the Skirmish mode. Pick the faction you'll lead as well as the one you'll face. Completely customize your army list by selecting your units, heroes and their loadouts. It is available with three different types of Objective: Exterminatus, Conqueror and Strategic Command.
Planetary Supremacy is a conquest-style skirmish campaign, introduced in a free update as part of our ever expanding plan for Battlesector, in which you, the player, decide the outcome.
Take command of your favourite faction and conquer the planet in a series of procedurally generated skirmish battles. To achieve victory, capture more tiles, acquire strategic resources and expand your army. Then, bring destruction to your enemies in Skirmish battles.
Daemonic Incursion is a single-player mode that is available to all Battlesector players as part of a free update that was launched alongside the Sisters of Battle Faction Pack. In Daemonic Incursion, waves of Khornate daemons enter realspace to spill blood, collect skulls and overrun your forces. This is a last-stand mode, in which your objective is simple: SURVIVE!
Command iconic units like the Sanguinary Priest, the Librarian Dreadnought, and the Hive Tyrant to annihilate your foes. Use over 60 abilities and 50 weapons to orchestrate your opponent’s bloody de-mise.
Each faction has a unique Momentum system that can result in a Surged unit. Units that Surge are able to string together superhuman chains of actions, or use the opportunity to further upgrade their abili-ties.
Use Command Points to call in faction-specific air support abilities. The Blood Angels Stormraven can obliterate xenos with a missile barrage, or deep strike a unit of veteran Assault Marines behind enemy lines. Meanwhile, the Tyranid Harpy can devastate the enemy defenses with its Sonic Screech, or scat-ter the battlefield with its deadly Spore Mines.
With live and asynchronous multiplayer, and hotseat modes available, there’s no excuse not to take your friends to war.

Reviews
This is a mixed review, but a little more positive than negative (and steam doesn't allow mixed). I'll preface by saying I haven't much experience with the tabletop game and I haven't played it in years, so I can't say much about this game's similarity to that. The core gameplay is good. I like the armour, effective range and combat systems and they require you to (to a certain extent) pick your units and their placement strategically. For the most part the space marine units feel quite unique and are used effectively for different types of engagements. Inceptors are very mobile and great for clearing swarms. Hellblasters are best used for fighting more armoured enemies at range. The only other army I tried playing as were the necrons, which felt more lacking in unit versatility. Their vehicles didn't feel nearly as good and they didn't seem to have as much swarm clearing ability compared to something like the inceptors or even regular intercessors from the space marines. They did seem to have more per-unit damage and can self-repair but the lack of shots fired hurts them I feel. For me, the worst part about combat was how long it takes. It's not so bad on your turn since you're picking out your moves and finding the perfect placement, but the enemy turns drag out even on the max speed setting. The last game I played was against the sisters of battle who had fielded an army of almost entirely infantry. The speed setting only affected their movement, meaning that I had to sit there for several minutes every turn watching every individual squad go through their entire firing animation before I could make another move. This of course happened every turn, and I simply got sick of it and quit. The graphics are good and I like that you can zoom in very close to see the models. The story was simply okay. The main campaign had weird difficulty spikes that weren't linear (as in it didn't necessarily get harder as you go). One mission I was fighting hard to keep some sisters of battle alive, and then in another I had to actually try to let certain units die to achieve a bonus objective. Overall, I'd say it's worth experiencing the base game and its campaign if you have the time. I tried out planetary supremacy mode hoping for an experience like Dawn of War: Dark Crusade, but as mentioned, I just got sick of spending every turn waiting for 20 different squads to do their animations.

typical scummy games workshop dlc policies. every game with the IP license is like this.
Only really enjoy the Crusade mode as Tyranids. It's in preview, it's been in preview for a year or so. Nearly lost a conqueror game mode. Because I couldn't cap all four points in time due to distance and composition. I could manage to kill the enemy luckily. First planet was Khorne, everything going well largely with a close call. The final boss was Khorne Daemon Prince. This normally is fine and dandey, a reasonable challenge. Except his entire army has "HQ upgrade immune to overwatch." What the hell am I suppose to do against Khorne then? He got buffed movement from a Daemon Prince ability and proceeded to just run over me in a single turn. Because all my Overwatch that was meant to severely punish; if he just ran at me in a stupid manner. Didn't matter at all due to a unfair upgrade making it so he could ignore an entire mechanic.
Battlesector is a greedy, DLC-infested, multiplayer-oriented skeleton of a game; Sanctus Reach is the superior game.
Really enjoyed the game. Play Ultramarines, Space Wolves, Nids, and Orks on tabletop. This is the closest you can get to tabletop without playing tabletop. Enjoyed the campaign a lot - was a really good introduction to the game systems and was paced well. Took about 24 hours to complete the campaign on normal. Planetary supremacy was actually really fun. Some reviews and forums comments apparently dont enjoy it. I did. I like the system and it was a good way to enjoy the game. Easily recommend this game if you play tabletop. If you are new to WH40k, this is a good starting point. Great game. Really looking forward to the upcoming content per the roadmap.
It is not the same, but this game feels like the closest thing to the tabletop Warhammer 40,000 experience. I have found it very enjoyable so far.
I'm giving it a negative review only for the fact that they put achievements for multiplayer. I, and many people, don't play multiplayer. I can't finish the achievements. Don't put achievements for multiplayer.
Tried it during the free period. It's a simplified, reskinned Age of Wonders game where each faction costs $15. Probably not what you're hoping for.
Extremely good 40k game. My only critique is that time skip for the enemy turns isnt fast enough. Its a pain to watch all 5000 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Tyrannids take their individual turns. Apart from that its very good.
