I played an archipelago with this game and I got stuck until my "friends" collected me the trinkets. The devs should've thought of this before I modded their game and played in an unintentional way.
いわゆる死にゲーのようなアクションゲーム。 といっても難易度はそこまで高くなく、収集要素やストーリーもあるので楽しく最後までプレイできた。
I've only played the start of the game but it's so fun. The only metroidvania I've liked to date

It's good, but I don't think it's great. Which is unfortunate, because I really wish it were better. I finally got around to playing this and I'm sure there's nothing I can say here that hasn't already been said before in other critical reviews, but to sum it up: it has some annoying flaws that don't really kill the experience, but do hamper its quality. The music is great and I find the art style cute. I don't have any complaints when it comes to these. The story is fine, I didn't pick up the game for the story, after all. The controls are *slightly* slippery but not *too* slippery, which is fine for the vast majority of the game, but that makes a few specific challenges frustrating because they require dumb amounts of precision and speed (e.g: the Edge Games trinket). I did try turning down my gamepad's sensitivity, but it seems like that extra bit of momentum is inherent to the physics of the game. The difficulty is highly uneven. The game is fairly easy/normal for the most part, but then there's a few outlier parts that require countless attempts (e.g: Doing Things The Hard Way) because that's when the lack of tight controls (coupled with expected perfection from the player) actually matter. Granted, most of the challenges (Secret Lab stuff) are completely optional, so unless you're a completionist, you can just ignore them entirely. The outer space area around the ship doesn't really have a lot of interesting things, and a good chunk of the map is essentially empty (but bizarrely filled with redundant checkpoints), so the amount of exploration you can have that is not related to rescuing crew members is pretty limited. I'm not aware of what's the history behind the game, but looking at the level layouts, it feels like big sections of the map were meant to have content but for whatever reason the devs weren't able to add more meat to it. There also some occasional annoying tidbits, like a mandatory escort mission where you have to guess the the momentum of a character you're not controlling, and the fact you'll need to manually mark some rooms with quicksaves if they're far away from teleporters and you accidentally walk into a one-way-only section. But those are just small issues in the grand scheme of things. I finished the game, got all trinkets, and am doing the time trials. I do recommend the game, but with the caveat that the optional stuff is probably unfun if you don't find the controls/physics appealing.
10/10 game imo despite how old it is, bought this when it was on sale and I don't regret it one bit. The music is amazing, gameplay is good (albeit a lil difficult at times), story is simple and easy to understand. I could never get tired of this game.
Haven't played much yet, but already seems really fun. It has a charm that's hard to describe. You'll most likely like this game if you already like platformers (or similar genres), but don't expect this game to be the game that gets you into the platformer genre (you probably won't like it if you don't already like platformers).
over 800 deaths, pretty fun
