Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.29/day in the week to Sep 14 → 4.25/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

i seriously would rather cut my ♥♥♥♥ off then play this stupid game anymore. i hate having to fly in a game where i have to fly. kill me
Great game, unplayable without friends. I dont know what else i'm expected to say, aircraft are all realistic and all have different flight manuals, properly notiching, actual turn fighting, working thermal seeking and evasion, and electronic jamming are all features that arent even in Slopthunder. Its world class. You can also upload your own music to the game and play it in game which is neat. Though most scenario creators seem to think everyone is just paling around in groups of 16 and balance their scenarios as such. Most of us play in groups of 2 up to 5 or 6, you should balance your scenarios around smaller groups, and the huge 16 player ones should be the secondary non priority alternate versions of scenarios! Desert Liberation has this especially bad.

This game is like dcs but for beeginners i love this game but for some reason the mod loader doesnt work.
hi tramp i love your socks
If you like to slam your head repeatedly against a wall, this is the game for you. The idea is good, but the execution is an excercise in frustration. Especially given that, even with in-game tutorials, the game does ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to actually tell you important info. Let's take the weapons tutorial as an example. It introduces you to the Targeting Pod, which you use to lock onto enemies. And given that they introduce it, you would think the weapons they give you for said mission would lock onto the marked target. Wrong! The minigun and rockets you get for the mission are fixed and need manual aim. The weapons that actually aim onto a target are given to you a mission later. So why introduce the Pod now? The game also wants you to destroy stationary tanks as target practice. Vehicles that can be pretty small when flying an aircraft. And it doesn't gice you any hints at all how to accomplish that. The game doesn't tell you what a good attack angle is, how much speed you should have or what the range of your weapons is. It just throws you into the deep end and expects you to figure it out yourself. In the tutorial. The game mode that is supposed to teach you these things. The next matter is that the tutorial is literally unfinished. In the final tutorial, where you learn about hover mode with the name giving VTOL plane, the instructor tells you:" In the next tutorial, we will talk about manual transition between hover and flight mode.". Only that there is no next tutorial. And there is so much stuff it doesn't cover. You don't get told how to evade missiles, you don't get told how to engage aircraft or ships (I will get to them), you don't get told how to use bombs, you don't get told the difference between fire and forget, laser guided or GPS based weapons, you don't get told what the symbols on the radar mean (especially that funny red circle that causes your plane to beep like the grim reaper is after it), it doesn't teach you that flares and chaff are no get out of jail free cards, it doesn't tell you THE RANGE OF YOUR WEAPONS (which is a problem, since missiles can take a long time to reach their target, leaving you wondering if it's still on its way or if the target is too far away.) It also doesn't tell you everything about your planes. What is the RWR? Don't know. What is the Reaction Control System? Don't know. What do the different flight assists do? Don't know. Why is the GPS an Excell sheath instead of a map like in a car? Don't know. Did you already know the equipment menu has sub menus we didn't tell you about? What does caged mode mean for a missile? Don't know. What is Ripple? Don't know. What's the difference between the radar you can put on the big screens compared to the small one you always have active? Don't know. Don't know, don't know, don't know. Thats the motto of the game. It won't tell you ♥♥♥♥ and it will happily throw you under the bus for not knopwing the ♥♥♥♥ it doesn't tell you about. Ok, now let me explain why I give this game a thumbs down. When you start the campaign for the VTOL plane (It's optional, but the first campaign the game shows you), the first three missions are good. A bit tricky, especially since the very first one wants you to do several VTOl landings, but doable. Mission 3 is actually pretty cinematic, since you attack a bunch of hostile ships with your teammates Ace Combat style. But then you reach mission 4 and it all goes downhill from there. You see, battle ships in this game are both equipped with small range AA guns and long range AA radar lock missiles. And since the missiles lock on by radar, they couldn't care less about flares and chaff. And the Kestrel, the VTOL plane, isn't the most mobile. So you see the problem. Now, the forums will say" use cover" but the ocean isn't known for its hills and mountain ranges. Which results in you getting hit (again, the tutorials don't cover missile evasion). And one hit usually disables both of your engines, which is basically a delayed death. So you try again and again and again. And each time a ship locks onto you. And you don't only fight one, like in mission 3. Oh no, you fight four of these bastards. Four ships with all of them having undodgeable one hit kill missiles. Sure, you get AI teammates, but the chance of the ships only shooting them are very slim. And yes, later you get lock on missiles yourself, but again, the game doesn't tell you their range. So even if you shoot the ships from afar, you have no idea if your missile will actually hit and the game doesn't tell you if it doesn't. So that's why I give the game a thumbs down. For not giving you all the information needed while putting you against impossible odds.
VTOL is such a great game. At first your thinking "How do I even start this plane?" and "What is all this beeping?" but after some time you get how everything works. Then you go down the rabbit hole of looking up the docs and advanced systems, there you see how much love and thought was put into development. There is just so much detail that you dont notice instantly. I now have 70 h in this game and I still dont know everything and I'm also still finding new things that I didnt know were in the game. If you love flying jets especially in VR, since its VR only, than this game is perfect for you. Its simple to start and understand, but still very realistic. Baha, the dev, is also still workingon this game, despite it coming out 9 years ago, at the time of this review. He also stated that he will continue working on this game for much longer. (Try finding the cursors in the official media postet by Baha on the discord server, most of the time, there is one)
