Volcanoids is a wonderful take on the 'mobile base' genre that I keep falling in love with. Capture a 'Drill Ship' from the enemy Cogs (robots) and build yourself a home away from home that can mine, defend, produce and research your way through the Island riddled with foes.

Got the game for $5 and has some kind of janky charm that I like

The best game of its kind. All of the mechanics mesh together really well. It feels quite well balanced for both multiplayer and single player. Also the only game where you pilot a drillship destroying enemies that I know of, it fills a niche I never thought I needed filled until I found out about it a few years ago.

This game is so fun and is very detailed with crafting, materials and different types of enemies ! Just the right amount of leveling up chaos and the multiplayer function is the best - My fiance has been trying to get me to play this game since it's early beta but what stopped me was the lack of multiplayer. Now with that fixed, it's our new favorite date night activity. Give this game a shot, you won't regret it. Also to the creator : THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU ARE A LEGEND
