love the art style hooked by the gameplay loop and immediately wondered what happened when I reached tier2 where was all the planning or tactics gone ? there's none when you get 200 respawning npcs in each ship why are all the enemies the worst most annoying design possible ? read dlc reviews dont know why people were surprised the main game is already like that no wonder it never made it into the mainstream, its horribly flawed and while its great to encourage new ideas and developers thats what you get for giving them praises when they don't deserve them...dangerous enemies ? sure more of them than doom ? no ! the worst most annoying enemy type possible ? no ! who doesn't love ghost that pop in your back shoot you once then disappear only to appear or not somewhere and yeah 200 of them for more annoyance....the game completely crumbles as difficulty rises

Good game. Poor pay off. I really tried, but its pretty much the same thing over and over. The art is nice, the humor is good, but there is no depth and after the number of hours you will put into this game the payoff is poor. How many hours of your life do you have to burn?
Too repetitive. There's nothing to make an emphasis on the feeling of making progress, I feel like this game suffers by not having a boss battle, or anything that is a test of skill, once you get into this game for long enough, it feels like every ship is the same. The end was probably the worst part, too obvious and just... Bland. Art style is good though, but not much else.
How this still hasn’t spawned a sequel is beyond my understanding. Great game that could have easily been expanded on.
I wanna prefrence this by saying. . . no, it's not a bad game. I own this game on 3 platforms, steam, playstation, epic games. I own it 3 times for I wanna say a year now, despite never playing it till today. Steam i paid on, the other 2 I got it free. That just goes to show how excited I been for this title. Now, after playing it: - Boring gameplay loop. - Lack Luster Gunplay. - Minimal Content. Don't get me wrong. I'm still gonna play it every now and again, but this, at best, feels like like a $10 game with a $30 price tag. Even so much as $15 I would argue would be too much for a game that just doesn't have a hook to it. Maybe I'm just not far enough into the game. . . but man does it feel stale, repetitive and lackluster. The loot system doesn't feel rewarding and combat doesn't feel "impactful". This is partially due to how the AI work. If there were 2 things this game needs, it's more interesting level design and combat that actually feels systematic/thoughtful design. If I could put it into words. . . this feels like the tyoe of game that would make sense. . . if it was made for VR. Not so much as a stand-alone project for $30. Everything about it is just shallow and bare-bones. Would def be worth $15-$20 if it was exclusively a VR title, but, since it's not that, I can't justify it as a "normal" game for anything more than $10.
The unique art design breathes fresh life into the genre, offering a memorable and immersive experience. Despite its familiar mechanics, the game's execution and atmosphere set it apart, making it a standout title in its own right.
Game is miserable if you get bad RNG with spawns. Maybe don't spawn the hardest enemies in the game that you are supposed to avoid in a hallway at the start point? Is it really that hard to make sure that doesn't happen when developing a game like this?
Gameplay loop isn't very good for being a roguelike, ends up being dull and repetitive.
