Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

fun
Good value when on sale at $4. Hits the old PS style perfectly, and it's actually a solid little game too. I like the small arena as a change from all the VS clones that have you trekking all over a giant map, and the gem upgrade system is also pleasantly different from the weapon evolution formula most games incorporate currently. I also appreciate that it doesn't try to artificially increase play time through excessive meta progression grinding.
It was made with love :)

Very cool
Good Soup .___________.
this game kicks ass. good soundtrack, great aesthetic, solid controls, fun builds, neat progression... all for like six bucks. cant wait to see what this developer releases next
a really fun game that is showing you don't need super good graphic to have a good fun time, as long as the gameplay is fun and it play well, graphic won't really matter that much
Very fun.
In the sea of Vampire Survivors imitators, this one really stands out as something special and deserves way more attention. It has a distinct audiovisual aesthetic mimicking the vibes of the Sega Saturn, Dreamcast and PS1, and each playable mecha has something that makes it unique and fun to use. Planning out your assortment of gems to get all the different combinations and see what they do for you is pretty fun too. The final boss is also something to see. It's not the most amazing thing ever or anything, but I definitely wasn't expecting it to be what it was, and I got a good chuckle from it. All in all, definitely give this game a shot if you're craving another one of these dopamine blasters.
Normally I write reviews when I’m finished with a game. But Vital Shell is a wonderful exception to this rule. It’s a bullet heaven done in the style of Brotato (have a 15-60 second wave, get upgrades, repeat for 20 waves), using a combo of mech’s modeled after rpg archetypes, vs abstract shapes on 5 maps and with plenty of unlock goals to accomplish to get more gear. And this gives a classic PS1 style look to everything, including a mockup of what the user manual would like like. You get 5 characters, numerous weapons, specials (ultimates), passives, and a bunch of gem style buffs to your weapons that give bonuses depending on your color combo’s. It’s a fairly short game, especially if you know how to play these bullet heavens/you can plan out the list of unlocks fairly well. But it’s been a very fun time and you’ll at least manage the “hour per dollar” count that means a lot to people. The dev did a fantastic job, and I look forward to seeing what they accomplish next in the future, pick up this game whenever you can!
